Now I'm Stuck Between whether Christianity or Buddhism is better

I think people should just sit around and think a bit more, that is basically what meditation is, people are too distracted to come to conclusions and stop being ignorant. Your idea of "discernment" is good for that too, discern things.
 
Christianity has an impressive resilience, what other religion grows when you persecute it?
 
It was either put together by a very very enlightened man or it is the work of God, just decide for yourself. I'm not here to tell you what to do.
 
I guess that's settled for now, ooh look I can predict the future, I see many floors, you will walk on floors.
 
I'm just joking, anyway. Anyone could have told you an English speaking audience sees a lot of cars.
 
Technically that makes me the best psychic in the world. You will walk on floors, like 90% accuracy.
 
All I have to do is walk up to science, predict that the scientists in the study will continue to do what they're doing and if they try to contradict me they have to leave.

Sounds like you should go on a fast to determine which one. But, it sounds like you’re not really serious anyway, and just want to talk about Buddhism versus Christianity. Hopefully you don’t get stranded somewhere or in a vital life situation where you need God to come through for you. And what I mean is trusting in something else deliberately other than Jesus, who said I’m the way the truth in the life, no man comes to the father except for me, could leave you in a situation where let’s say you’re homeless with no car no finances and no place to live. The truth is then you would finally be seeking help from an honest heart, not a foolish intellectual, based desire to show people how intelligent you are.

You should check to see how Siddhartha , the Buddah, started the practice of Buddhism.

Here's how he did it in brief.

Sid was not Chinese. He was Indian,(India), and a prince.
After members of his family sickened and died, he became depressed. He didn't understand why this happened.

So, to find an answer he went and meditated under the Bodhi Tree for forty-nine days so to achieve enlightenment and find an answer.

When he stopped the meditation he claimed to have found his answer.
There is no God. Life,this reality,is an illusion.

I will likely catch a lot of flack from other believers for this observation. but prior to Christianity becoming a legal religion in the Roman empire and thus eligible for official funding, it was much more tolerant of other religions. Buddhism is not mentioned by that name in early church writings, but it appears to have been referenced as one of the other belief systems that was no more than a half step behind Christianity, with many members being better Christians than many official Christians were. But of course, when official funding became available, there simply was not enough to go around, so Christians had to denounce all the false claimants in order to ensure that the Christians got sufficient funding, something that never happened because more money can always be needed.
