What we have is an American empire and not a new sort of Ottoman empire. But it started long before Obama, who is merely recently been put in charge of it. Mainly Moment of Faith only complains when someone who is not republican is president/emperor not that there is one. We need to reduce our empire to the point where it can be drowned in a bath tub (to paraphrase Grover Norquist.)
