Sigh, that again.

Step one: someone calls for hermetical consistency when dealing with Mosaic Law.

Step two: the other person rebuts by insulting him and citing 'ceremonial law' even though there is no such distinction in scripture.

Instead of 'ceremonial law' you should just say 'laws I don't like' because that distinction at least exists.
Where's your goat and lamb sacrifices?

Where'd his temple go? ;)

I don't know but could this be it?

I haven't carefully read through all 17 pages of this so I do apologize if this has already been covered, but I have a question.

If gay marriage became legal (which it is in some states) and a church refuses to let them use their church building for the ceremony/wedding, could that church be sued with "discrimination"?

Well I'm certainly against it, especially considering tax money doesn't fund churches. So I don't care. I've also never met someone who is for forcing churches to marry same-sex couples, although I'm sure some exist. The way I see it, if a gay couple wants to get married they'll most likely want to go somewhere where they're accepted, not a church that doesn't feel comfortable marrying them.

Obama weighing executive actions on housing, gays and other issues

By Zachary A. Goldfarb, Published: February 10

President Obama is considering a series of new executive actions aimed at working around a recalcitrant Congress, including policies that could allow struggling homeowners to refinance their mortgages, provide new protections for gays and lesbians, make buildings more energy-efficient and toughen regulations for coal-fired power plants, according to people outside the White House involved in discussions on the issues.

the view that somehow gay marriage is going to ruin this country is starting to just be funny to me

funny? that's not a word i would use Naut.

Jude 1:7
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

but all sin is leading to Judgment.
Christ Crucified for us is the only way out.

Oh no sexual immorality and perversion what will we do? You know those two things are relegated solely to homosexuals right?

And it's not exactly like it's new. There have been homosexuals for a long time, and there have been sexually promiscuous people for a long time as well. People just want someone to blame for the world's problems.

a thread with the word gay in it.
don't click here if you don't like the discussion

I dont dislike the discussion just saying my own opinion I believe if youd stop spending so much time worrying about gays that time and energy could be put into something useful like helping another person. Not saying im for gay marriage or whatever its just my opinion if you dont like it tough luck.

Oh come now.

If I don't like it, don't marry a guy right?

Don't like a thread on same-sex marriage? Don't read/post...

I haven't seeing much anger here yet.

I'm far less concerned with whether I'll have a job or not, than I am with salvation.

Youre making assumptions but that doesnt surprise me reading other posts youve read.

Im not for gay marriage

Youre contradicting yourself if dont like my post why read it or even respond to it?

if youre so concerned about having a job or not why even be on here complaining to me about someones opinion?

i'm not worried about homosexuals.
it's the broader agenda and the force behind the agenda i examine.
i try to help other people.

thanks.

For me,regardless of anyone's views on homosexuality, EVERYONE has the right to be with the person they love and to have their union recognized. Everyone should also have the right to adopt children and have BOTH parents be their legal parents.
