I heard on the news something like federal war games about to be enacted in the Southern USA with emphasis on Texas. And I also heard that the governator of TX was calling out the Texas guard -- just to be observers, as it were.

I was reminded of how the old Soviet Union used to intimidate other nations by having war games, troop exercises, like in Poland during the First Cold War -- I think we are back in the 2nd one now, though not altogether cold.

Someone remarked about the futility of trying to second guess God's movements in like the political/military/disaster judgment department. And that is of course quite true. Trying to figure out the Lord is beyond us.

But movements seem to spring up out of the woodwork, like the Arab Spring thing & the Occupy movement -- are they still camped out on Wall Street?

I think I will study these Obama games more closely, not to jump to conclusions too fast.

Wasn't this much ado about nothing? Did the Governor really mobilize the National Guard? Is Texas still standing?
