Has anyone noticed that colds this year are lasting longer than in the past? I ask because I rarely have a cold, and when I have had one it was usually a couple of days with the sniffles, but I have one now that has gone on now for two weeks.

I know that people my age and older sometimes have less resistence, but while I have had this cold so long, my appetite has not diminished, and I feel as strong as any other time. It is a strange thing indeed. Praise God, I have a cold...

I love that your avatar/picture is that of a nurse or doctor, yet you are asking us about health.

...........go see a Doctor..........it may not be a cold............it may be something else.......the FLU is really bad this year as I understand from reading about it................also, it seems people are letting their "cold like symptoms" .......slide........ so to speak, thinking they will be better in a few days.....

Go to a Doctor, a Clinic......or such........

I agree with p_rehbein, go see a doctor. What I thought was a cold turned into the flu and strep throat--I was very sick for 2 weeks and am still not back to 100%. Don't risk it.
