A new day:

A new day begins,
I thank God for that!
May He save me from sins,
Then I shall not make Him sad!

Cool, I really start to like this poem thing :D
 
Ode for Aksel

Oh Aksel O Aksel
Can you hear a damsel?
I give you my counsel
Like Gretal and Hansel
To her you must fly

Go climb in your vessel
Tis only a diesel
While you flex your muscle
And sit in your nacelle
On top of the fusel(age)
At least you must try

You once were a weasel
But now you can outsell
The tinsel and tassel
That catches their eye

Once you rescue Michelle
You’ll whirl like a c’rousell
And share with her roselle
You will feel so high

So upon your easel
Her form you will chistle
She admires your gristle
So much that she cry

I looked up my official scrabble player dictionary with a program I wrote in Access VBA (used pattern matching:))

I didn't look up words!!! I swear!!! That's why it is so hard in English. And you make me all believe your good at it... Pfeh :mad: :D

Aksel is pronounced like accel in 'accelerate' (the e is slightly more dimmed). It's a scandinavian name, but I don't know what it means. Astrid perhaps?
 
Ode to posting
and whos doing the mosting
to all that are boasting
over those that are coasting

let all keep it light
to avoid to much fight
so that all not lose sight
that in Jesus is right!

I'll have to write a book with all poems read here. Pickles, your also veerrry good at this!!!!
 
Oh Adrian, you Australian guy,
How do you do it, and tell me why!
You manage to give me a smile,
Every time I read your file!

A wise man, you are indeed!
Always helpful to those in need.
Thank you Lord, for my new friend,
That our friendship may never end!

For this ode, I did not cheat,
Also, I didn't have to eat,
I just came into my mind,
Because Adrian is always kind.

For Pickles, I don't know much,
Please understand that I speak Dutch!
My next poem will be for this man,
I'll make it the best I can!

It is time now to end this ode,
I've got to go back to working-mode.
Writing this was a pleasure to do,
God's bless to all of you!
