I am seated here in the middle of the crowd
I am here in the middle of stress and worry
I am here stuck between the hot dog man
and the struggling street singer
as I sip my water bottle slowly.

I offer Bibles for all
And no down payment is involved.
I was never taught to sell eternal life
nor negotiating with a gift
that was already paid for.

I am seated in the middle of the road
with lots of birds and children running wild.
I am seated here as an unwanted alternative
as I digest my last sandwich

I offer Bibles for all
And no down payment is involved.
I was never taught to sell eternal life
nor negotiating with a gift
that was already paid for.

I offer Bibles for everyone.
No discount or offer is involved.
I was never taught to bribe people
I was never taught to hide these good news.

Despite the opposition and indifference
my heart is a medieval shield.
Angry fists may come towards me
but I stay serene and in peace.
Chaos won't bury me down.

I offer Bibles for all
And no down payment is involved.
I was never taught to be silent
nor watering down this sacred mission
I was entrusted since I was saved

I like the poetic techniques of repetition and parallelism as well as alliteration (e.g., struggling street singer) and metaphor (my heart is a medieval shield). I notice that the poem is free verse or unrhymed and unmetered.

I also appreciate the verbal painting of some poor but contented soul in a chaotic and stressful world (cf. PHP 4:4-7) who offers people the most valuable thing in life, God's Word regarding how to be saved--for free, despite being harassed.

It reminds me of a prayer yesterday.
I was talking to the Lord about giving away a bunch of old/ antique, but in good condition, Bibles to new converts who trust Christ as their Savior. I have them in stacks upon a bookcase across from me right now. When someone >Gets Saved< they need God's Holy Word in order to grow.
No charge. The gospel was freely received and freely given.
God provided His Word to be shared and they didn't cost me more than I could afford. I just hope they will all be used so I can eventually get more to hand out.
Please pray that your poem will continue to be a reality by God's grace through >His family.<
