I'm not against love in any way, shape or form. I believe that ANY two individuals can feel genuine love for one another. I also believe that two people of the same gender (like brothers, sisters, or even best friends) can love each other as much as they could love anyone else. I do not believe, however, that love and sexual orientation should be confused with one another, as they so often are nowadays. As it's been said by many people already, sex is not love. Homosexuality has nothing to do with love, but rather, sexual orientation, and should be treated respectively. Does anyone agree with this?
 
Sex and love can mean two different things, but that doesn't abstract sex from love itself. It depends on the intent of having sex and whether if you truly care about the person you're committing on that type of level. This is why Christians restrict from having sex until after they are married because marriage is a commitment made with their spouse to stay with them only until they either divorce or die, which involves their sex life to be between the two within the marriage.

Homosexuality is forbidden because of God's design for man and woman to conjoin and procreate. I don't know what other perspective homosexuality can be seen as since it violates on the level that it commits two of the same sex having sexual relations.
