Very possible, it’s not easy and I do believe it’s more about a person’s spiritual maturity when making choices on how they conducted their life that will cause someone to be rejected by the Lord and since the bible is what we have to set and establish doctrine here are some scriptures that we must consider.
Matthew 7:21-23
[SUP]21 [/SUP]“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ [SUP]23 [/SUP]And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Matthew 24:13 but verses 9-14 go with it.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
John 15:6
6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Anyone is anyone and that would include those who prayed the sinners prayer but never sought the Lord did anything for Him etc.
Hebrews 12:14
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord
Hebrews 10:26-31
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[a] says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.”[c] 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
James 5:19-20
19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[a] from death and cover a multitude of sins.
1 John 5:16-17
16 If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
Revelation chapter 2 & 3 the Lord Jesus Christ is rebuking people for their sin and commanding them to repent and gives a very, very strong warning to those believer in the Church of Thyatira concerning sexual sin.
