I went back to Genesis to read over an noticed a few things with the order that confuse me a bit for example in genesis 1:20-21 it talks about God creating the creaters in the waters an the fowls of the air before the creation of man but then in genesis 2:19 it talks about God froming beast of the field an the fowls of the air an bringing them to Adam to name.... so could someone help me understand the oreder of events here.

God created all the animals,,, then He created Adam....Gen 2:19 is just reinterating that God created beasts & birds during the 5th and 6th days of Creation.
Then God marched them in front of Adam,,,and Adam gave them all names....
I always wondered who gets to name the streets of a new neighborhood. Sounds like the fun part for whoever does that job.

not according the way 2:18-19 reads... and the lord God said it is not good that the man should be alone i will make him a help mate and out of the ground the lord God formed every beast of the field and every fowl of the air and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them..... the way this reads to me is than man was created then God createa the beast an the fowls.

This comes up every couple of weeks. Genesis 1 is the order God prepared the plan in heaven. Gen. 2 is the order it showed up on earth. This is shown in the Hebrew word for creation. In Gen. 1, God "bara", or "gives meaning and purpose to". in gen. 2, God "asher" or "completes" the work. Once you see it that way, it's no more of a mystery than if you start to make the dessert for dinner before you start to cook the appetizer. Your plan to make it goes in a different order than the meal is served.

You might want to check something else. (Genesis 1:27) So God created man. (Genesis 1:28) And God blessed them. Man is singular, them is plural.

Adam is a plural noun, so it takes a plural referent. At the end of Jonah, the population of Nineveh is given as ...adam, not ....adamim. In some sense,"humanity" is almost a better translation for adam than is "man".
Gen 1 details to the reader the sequence of creation events as they occurred, in the order that they occurred, as determined by the sequential count initiating with 1.
Gen 2 is not a sequence, but merely begins to fill in more details behind the purpose of mankind.
