We do have choices other than trump or hillary for the next POTUS.

Please check out Evan McMullin - He's a Mormon, but we need to realize that his religion is NOT a barrier to doing the job well.

and Johnson / Weld - these guys are Republicans running on the Libertarian ticket

Do some research, check out other sources for information on them and learn about the other choices.

A sincere question. When was the last time a non-mainstream candidates, from one of the two major parties, won a presidential election?

Now more than ever mainstream media pushes only the 2 main candidates, so it seems less likely than ever a smaller candidate has a chance. But perhaps it's been more recent than i can recall.

Every U.S. president elected to office since 1852 has belonged to one of two political parties: Republicans and Democrats. But polling data suggest that many people aren't satisfied with that either-or scenario in the voting booth. In August 2011, a Gallup survey found that 58 percent of Americans didn't think Republicans and Democrats were doing an adequate job governing the country and supported the idea of a third party to come to the rescue [source: Jones]. Nevertheless, the odds of that happening are slim, judging by third parties' collective legacy as flashes in the pan that glimmer every four years or so and quickly fade out.

I could be wrong, but my impression of US voters is that they make split second decisions of who to vote for based on who made the coolest show during some speech. I do hope this is a warped view.

It's sad that the two most promoted people seem to be crazy. In Norway we at least have more evils to choose from :p

Personality is important, and we are monitoring the candidates carefully because the president is the person in charge of the codes. That does not mean we pick our candidate based on what is said in one speech. So far the candidates have turned out to be rather disturbing:p

Nah...........any Lawsuit filed would be destined for the trash bin. All the Jury would need would be to see one or the other of them walk in the Court........and they would be like...............
