As many of you know, my friends Michael and Natalie's 11-year-old son Hunter passed away this past Friday (March 31). Hunter was a great Christian young man with a positive attitude towards life. He was a real blessing to everyone he encountered. I remember talking with him at length about video games and superheroes.

Even though death may physically separate us Christians for a while, it does not have the final say on the matter. In 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV) states, "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I love this hope-filled verse. Note the -eth ending on the verb "giveth". This means that God continually gives us the victory over death.

May God bless you today and every day.
