Just wanted to say some nice things about the Mormons since the U.S. presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, belongs to this unusual Christian church. For many years, i considered the LDS to be enemies of Christianity. But, they have a lot of good things going for them that other Christians can learn from. When I grew up in a small town, they often had community events that they would invite their high school friends to such as cook-outs, music events, etc... They have a WONDERFUL community spirit within their religious membership base, and a social fellowship warm, caring spirit where people work together to meet the communities needs.
And, you have to admit that it is not easy to go around and knock on peoples doors.

Christians and Latter Day Saints should reach out to one another, for common ground. There are things that we can learn from them and them from us. Unfortunately, I got into another heated discussion with a missionary along a beach near here, and I felt badly that we left on such unfriendly terms. So, I'm going back to find these two missionaries, and see if we can try again to each try to understand each others beliefs. The missionaries and myself discussed the different views and teachings of the Atonement of the Lord and how this effects the New Covenant, which is based on Judaic history. I hope we can sit down and discuss these issues without getting defensive. I don't think Romney is going to get elected this time, but maybe in 4 years. I think that if he does, it's a win-win scenario where this group can better understand how they are perceived and how they might consider reaching out to Christians in dialog, and take a serious look at issues that may need to be addressed that will allow them to be more accepted by mainstream Christians.

Then maybe we need to stop the claims of heterodoxy to those Mormons and include them within the greater Christian community instead of attempting to convert them.

Even if america seems odd to them, their dress and values will not get them to heaven.
Jesus is the only way

they r not christians ask mormon missionaires thety told me no they are not a tradition christian church

Mormons worship the devil.

John 8:44-45(KJV)
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

They do not worship Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

another man made religion using the name Jesus Christ and the Title God to deceive people.

We that follow seek not to change the Truth but to obey it in Spirit and Truth.

Let's just make a really big tent.
And say everyone is saved.
Let's just make getting to heaven easy.
.......Oh wait.....Lucifer already has.

Mormonism is a cult because they claim Jesus was not THE son of God, but A son of God.
And they claim those that follow their precepts can be one too. - (Have their own planet)

The differences should be as plain as the nose on your face.

I took the temple tour once with a friend of mine who is a well known anti-Mormon Christian apologist. It was interesting. They had a goon squad of security on us the whole way through... lol.

They tried to pretend like they were evangelical Christians the whole way through but at the end out popped the Book of Mormon... the "other testament" of Jesus Christ. This "other testament" is a lie... a heresy invented by an occultic practioneer named Joseph Smith who forged it as a shortcut to money and power. Like many cult founders, he benefited greatly for a time. His heresies drew adherents who gave him the fame, fortune, and sexual immorality he was pursuing but in the end his heresy, sexual immorality, and thirst for power cost him his life.
