Our heavenly Father loves us a great deal,and the world has mistaken Him,some not looking at God as being that loving,looking at Him as a war monger in the Old Testament,and some saying that God is punishing me.
But this is not the truth.
Jesus Christ is God's love towards humanity,and Jesus said it is the Father that dwells in Me,He does the works.
However Jesus behaved while He was on earth,is the love of God towards humanity,and Jesus did not come to condemn,but to save,and He did not hurt a soul physically,took physical abuse,and verbal abuse,without retaliation,and was the most humble person to ever live.
That is the love of God towards humanity when Jesus was on earth,Jesus not hurting no one,is the same as God not hurting anyone,for Jesus was showing the love of God,no condemnation,no punishment,only salvation,while Jesus was on earth.
Salvation is still available to the world,and Jesus still the Savior of the world,and His Gospel still in effect.
That means the way Jesus behaved while on earth,and God showing His love,is the same love that applies right now.Whatever we read about Jesus as He walked the earth,is the same love towards humanity right now.
That means no condemnation,no punishment for those who say God is punishing me,or does not care about me,but only salvation to all those who love God by Jesus Christ.
In the Old Testament God is love,and said He winked at their ignorance,but now commands all people to repent.
God was not a war monger,but a saver of lives,physically,and spiritually,and allowed Israel to fight against those who would war against them,and possibly wipe them out,or perverted them from the truth,and God would allow the evil spirits to stir up kingdoms,and nations,to take down those who became powerful who were physically cruel to people,and would pervert them with false religious ways extending too far,and God would fight for Israel Himself at times to keep her safe,cause her to not be wiped out,and not to be perverted with false gods,for Jesus would come through the nation of Israel that would bless the world.Had God not fought for Israel,the devil would of stirred up kingdoms,and nations,and wiped Israel out,then the hope of salvation would be gone.
While it was the Old Testament covenant,and not spiritual yet,God had to intervene,which He did personally with Israel,and allowed the evil spirits to stir up people to take down people that were such a threat in physical cruelty,and false religious ways,to keep the world in check from getting too crazy at that time,for Jesus had not come yet.
If God would of not intervened for Israel salvation would not be,for Israel would have been gone,and if God had not allowed kingdoms,and nations,to keep things from getting too crazy,although they were not aware that God was allowing this,it would of been chaos big time.
The loss of life during Old Testament times is far less,and the religious perversion far less,with the intervention of God at play during that time.Had not God intervened during Old Testament times,the loss of life,and religious perversion upon people,would have been far greater.
God is not a war monger,He was saving lives,and to try to keep religious perversion from getting too wide spread from a kingdom,so not to stamp upon His truth upon earth.
God the Father is love,and Jesus Christ is the love of the Father towards humanity,and God was love both Old Testament,and New Testament,to save lives,and for people to see His truth.
God's intervention is there,but one day it will not be,and the world will wish it had been,for when God allows the world 7 years to have their way,and rebel against Him,to cause all people that do not love Him to follow the beast kingdom,which then He will end this sin business on earth,His intervention is removed,the first time in human history that is has been removed,for He is letting the world have their way,something He never did in the past,and the devils are going to raise havoc with humanity,and there will be chaos that has never been seen before,for when they say Peace and safety,and the 7 years begins for the deception upon the world that does not love God,then sudden destruction,not wait a while destruction,but sudden destruction comes upon them,and then they will see how cruel man really is,especially when they get to the beast kingdom,and they go against every single person that does not go along with the beast kingdom,and want them off this earth pronto.
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
God is restraining the devil from having too much influence in the world,but one day that restraining will not be,and the devils will cause chaos in the world that has never been seen before.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Woe to the inhabiters of the earth,when God does not intervene at this time,and the restraint is no longer on the devil.
Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
Then the wickedness of people will be out full force,such as never have been before,more people killed,physical chaos,and more people spiritually deceived than at any other time in human history.
God is not cruel,and a war monger,people are,which David even said let the LORD punish for what I did wrong,and not let man do it,for God is merciful,when God gave David the choice of punishment for him doing wrong in the eyes of the LORD.
God is love,and is intervening,and restraining,so the world will not be utter chaos,and Jesus' love still applies now,no condemnation,no punishment,for now.
Isa 47:3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.
When God puts down the beast kingdom He will not meet them as a man.The first time God came to deal with the world's sin problem,He came with love,mercy,and forgiveness,but when God comes the second time to deal with the world's sin problem,He will not meet them as a man,but as God.
