Something I think may help us to feel we have a little more control of our threads more. Maybe a Comment approval button. When We gets comments, or replies or feedback to thread we have created. We are in control whether to accept the negative comments replied, that not to be shown in the thread. Just an idea, but it would help us to have that little bit more responsibility to the thread we make.
 
Sorry, there are too many complete nutters on this forum that would delete any comment that doesn't agree with them. I disagree with the idea.

Censorship. You don't really want that. What if every comment you made in reply which was good in a bad thread got removed?
No, you don't really want to ask for censorship.

No way. That completely eliminates the point of the forums. Freedom of speech, sharing of ideas. All you would see is posts dominated by people who only want their points allowed. And probably a rush of new threads started to counter a single post in a thread, they were not approved to respond in. Thereby generating even more repeat topic threads than there already are.
If you don't want to be debated, don't post in a public forum.
 
You can blog and decide who gets to reply to your threads... Hope that helps... :D
