Sitting by the water's edge,
Hearing the rippling of the water,
Seeing the moonbeams cross our minds,
Feeling the love as we unwind.
Where are you now, my trusted friend
Sparkling in the twilight precious and near.
The more we think,
The closer we get,
To that day in paradise,
That's so near and yet it,
Passes us by, the closer we get.
Flowers and sunshine in your hair,
Love embracing your skin so fair.
I see your image in the shadows,
Of each passing moment
As we come together by His grace.
