‘DOOMSDAY OF THE HOLY TRIUNE GOD’ 10/25/25
“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1 John 5:1-7.
I feel God’s grace in this season in a way I never have before. I give Him the credit for this message. I thank my Heavenly Father for my precious – newfound Jehovah’s Witness friends. I thank Jesus for His life-giving salvation for me. I thank Him for being my good Shepherd. I just heard someone say, “No one can be a Christian without being Jesus’ disciple.” This is really what the term Christian consists of. Thirdly, I thank Holy Spirit – without Whom I never would have had anyone to lead me to Jesus. Without the Third Person of the Trinity -I wouldn’t know how to follow Jesus- or how to be led by Him.
The Power of God is Holy Spirit. He isn’t electricity, fire, or wind. He created these things. He is infinitely transcendent to all of His creation. He didn’t create His Power or acquire “something” at some point; He isn’t an attribute of God: He is Who He is. There must be Sovereign intelligence and infinite creative sentience in the character of His Power. He has nothing to do with our vain concept of power.
Could any of the elements He made make a dolphin? How can we compare Him to anything we know? We cannot contain Him. We don’t understand His power – but we will know what He is like when we are changed by Him. We will experience Him fully in the Person of Jesus. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2.
It was Holy Spirit who placed the Son of the Highest in the virgin Mary. The soul which He filled with all His fullness – knew Him from forever-past. This perfect vessel was emptied of all that he ever was. [see my message entitled ‘AN ETERNAL YES’ for more description of this terrible length to which God went for us.]
Jesus is the spotless Lamb of God. The Father will not take anyone in our place to save us and change us except Jesus –Who has all the fullness of the Holy Spirit pulsing in His veins.
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:” Heb. 1:1-3.
Jesus knew fully Who He was and where He was going when He went to the cross. How many ways does He need to show us His love before we worship Him in a way He is worthy of? Many of us proudly call Him God – but we do not live like we really believe. Many of us have become conformed to the world and are paralyzed by our stubborn self-will. Some of us humbly hesitate to go as far as to call Him God – but live with a hearty faith that He is the Son of God -and diligently seek to emulate His life through His Word.
Many who pose as His body are as vain as the world. This is what The Lord came to save us from. He was fully one with Holy Spirit when He was nailed to the cross; yet he ended with the same level of spirit that suffices any ordinary person -to keep their vain heart pumping. When Jesus’ lungs inflated in the horrific moment that he cried out – the last trace of the Spirit of God left him with that exhale… making him distinctly alone for the first time. This sealed his decision to deny his unfathomably great and true identity, for our sakes.
He became nothing - as the last trace of his Divine life left him; as his blood drained to the last -he gave up the ghost. The only thing He ever thought about was the will of the Father: This is His Holy Spirit: The free-will of the Father. This heart of life-giving mercy is the deepest and greatest part of Who Jesus is. The mind of Christ –which is the express image of God’s character – is meant to be found in us too.
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Phil. 2:5-8.
This does not mean that we are to seek equality with God – which even Jesus did not do: but we are to lay down the very fabric of who we are as Jesus did. If we get lost in the laying down of our life for His sake: we will find it in Him. How much time do we spend really serving Him –and how much time do we really spend pursuing what He can give us? He Himself is the eternal reward of those that seek Him.
“I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire.” Rev. 3:18a. If we don’t receive the love of the truth – we will partake in the judgment of His wrath. “For our God is a consuming fire.” Heb. 12:29. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 1 Pet. 4:17. If we don’t willingly allow ourselves to be judged -then we will need to face our Judge on the side of the world.
If we are not in touch with His sternness from time to time – we are not really His children – and we will not be able to properly cooperate with Him. “It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.” Heb. 12:7,8.
