Passion

I didn't realize it until I began to actually READ the Word for myself so many years ago, but I grew up in a denomination that added to/subtracted from scripture in order to justify what it shared with the world. Out of respect for others who may be in that denomination, I refuse to name it. But...when I see people adding to/subtracting from scripture, it kindles a fire in me because I know firsthand how such things can hinder our spiritual growth and walk with Christ. I'm very passionate about it and can't apologize for it because it comes from the core of my love for the Lord.

I'm passionate about the more extreme forms of christian metal, (i.e. death metal, unblack/black, etc.). A lot of those particular bands use that platform as a ministry to listeners who are otherwise hearing messages of death, self-destruction, and a lot of times even worse. The christian bands playing these styles of music are consistently looked down on and chastised by the church for their ministry, and some have even received death threats. More recently one particular band was attacked by a group of satanists while touring Brazil, but the band kept their heads up, and kept the tour and the ministry going. Rather than just sitting outside and passing out tracts that will most likely be ignored and trashed, these bands are willing to go on the front lines for their faith getting persecuted by those who hate Christ, and by those who think their music is demonic. Not to far removed from the early days of the church in my opinion.

My fondness with children leads me to the heart of teaching and admonishing them. There's no greater joy to see them walking and manifesting the lessons that you thought them. And with it, made them acknowledge and love the Lord more and more. I taught missionary children few years ago, and now i'm witnessing them growing in the Lord. It's a privilege to be part of their journey that never stops there. They still often come and ask for advices. There are many things people can learn in this world, but the most important is teaching them that they are loved by God, and they are always His beloved. It always start with showing that love to them.

Its hard for me to say, until my Alarms go off.

The Character and the Nature of God, that is something that I am passionate about.

I feel like when people miss the examples of How God has related to us in scripture, it skews their perspective of Love, Hope, Salvation and Faith. God has given us the portrait of Himself in His Word.

I feel like when people warp their view of God it gives them license to promote all kinds of Evils in His name, which simply do not reflect Him at all.

I am passionate about teaching children the ways of The Lord. seeing the "light bulb" come on when they start to grasp a new Biblical concept, or hearing a child pray or boldly declare their faith brings me so much joy because I know it brings God joy!

Also, defending the defenseless. In my case as a woman, this usually but not always tends to be women or children. When I act on behalf of the physical and/or spiritual well being of someone who really needs a taste of the love of Christ, I feel empowered and confident because I can tell its the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through me to accomplish great things and all glory goes to God alone!

And finally, music, especially in the context of worship or meditation. I want to point any musical ability I have back towards my creator or use it to bless his people.
