Leviticus 23: 5 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month ( Nissan )in the evening, is the Lord’s Passover.

And when the Jews are celebrating Passover, the church will be waving the palm branches.

If time has no meaning to you, we degrade the message of the Passover and the scriptures.

So when you celebrate the Passover is it a full moon?

Yes it would be! The new moon starts the new month, and day 14 would make it full.

I'd give the importance of a proper calendar less weight than some things; but every letter of the scriptures matters- and there is much to learn from the Passover, which no doubt includes its proper timing.

Passover is a night of watching.

Lord made this an ordinance for Israel.

This is why the Lord on the night he was arrested kept coming back to tell them to watch/

Exodus 12:42

For the Lord, that was a night of intent watching, to bring them out of the land of Egypt. For all Israelites in every generation, this same night is a time of intent watching to honor the Lord.

According to the New Testament Christ Himself is the Passover for Christians:

“Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.” (1Co 5:7 NKJV)

The passover was the Angel of Death passing over the first chosen under the blood of Son to come, was lamb's blood spread on their door posts
And the Angel of death passed over them and killed the first born
Amazing correlations from Scripture
The blood on the door posts Lamb's blood representing our salvation to come through Son for us all and this is now done we looking back over the forward they were looking into it coming
Amazing how all things correlate to the whole truth in Son for me and all others as well, thNKS

The children of God go by the solar calendar, not moons. You count 14 days from the spring equinox which brings you to Passover. Prophecies given in days refers to the children of light, God's children. Prophecies given by moons refers to the children of darkness, Satan and those that follow him.

Or a better question: Why celebrate the symbol when the reality has come?

It's like calling your wife on the phone when she's standing in the room.

For that matter, why should any Christian? While we have freedom to do so, we are under no obligation.
Yeah, my question gets at the racism inherent in many church practices. To boil it down: why should an Arab believer celebrate a Jewish holiday?

These things, like celebrating shadows when the reality has appeared, are relics of Rome. By and large, The Roman Church does not teach the indwelling of God (the Holy Spirit) to its members. All manifestations of God are external or only permitted by a select few (their definition of "saint" is different than God's). It's how the administration maintains power over the people: "You definitely need what we have, and only a select few can give it to you".

When your authority is tied to a past expression (like saying Peter is the first pope) then you limit your relevance to that expression.

You raise a couple of valid points. While there is nothing wrong with supporting Israel, and for a host of reasons, we remain in the time of the Gentiles, which includes all Arab groups. And to believe munitions will outperform prayers is ill-advised.

Show me where we are to select the Sunday following the spring equinox in scriptures, man made reenactment.

Passover can be almost any day of the week

.
I was baptized an infant into the Roman Catholic Church and in time became
competent enough with elementary catechism to complete First Holy
Communion and Confirmation. I remained on Rome's path 24 years so I
know for myself just how difficult it is to attain Heaven by means of that
religion's faith and practices.

As a young Catholic, I sincerely believed I needed Mary's assistance; but
I eventually found out that what I desperately needed, and didn't know it,
was a Passover lamb.

When the Lord journeyed thru the land of Egypt during the original Passover
described in the 12th chapter of Exodus; He wasn't looking for piety, nor
repentance, nor charity, nor faith, nor religion, nor perseverance, nor
courage, nor confession, nor kindness, nor tithing, nor weeping, nor prayers,
nor morality, nor baptism, nor gender, nor age, nor ethnic identity, nor
would it have mattered if people inside some of the homes didn't taste their
lamb because the Lord was looking for only one thing: the blood.

Now as long as the blood was applied as directed; even the Wiccans, the
Voodoo priests, the mediums, the terrorists, the Hamas, the Hezbollah, the
Syrians, the Palestinians, the LGBT, and North Korea's Kim family dynasty
would've been safe inside those homes because the people's personal
lives didn't matter that night.

IMO it is wrong to take communion/break bread with leavened bread

Because in doing so you are saying the Lord was sinful?

Your opinion

“Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

The bread declares our placement into the Lord as His body. He desires that we live a life of sincerity and truththat’s the unleavenous of the bread, not whether or not the bread has yeast. In Christ we are the bread because we are His Body.

“For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”

This was foretold by Adam and revealed, later, by Paul:

Genesis:

And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;

She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”

And Paul:

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Well this will be good. For me its like Xmas when He was born.. duh most know it was not that day and no one in the NT made a big deal about it ever. Then.. just thinking makes you cry...not sad but joy that He took it all for you for me and rose. How many times do we and forgive me but rob it or add burdens by trying to define the correct day and make a big deal about it.. He's not. Oh perfect as always.. song by.. I love BJ Thomas "What a difference you've made in my life".

Like communion.. its not about us but Him. Its as often as you do it. If you want to do it..do it your way. In all of this I ask my self just what am I focusing on?
