He was not praying on a public sidewalk he was praying on private property after being warned not to. Having said that he is bringing attention to the plight of children that have no voice. Keep up the good work.
 
this guy is just being a jerk. All they said was step outside the gate. So he got what he deserved. Good.
 
Considering the fact that the pastor did refuse leaving private property, and the pastor's act would be considered harassment, he was in breech of the law. He could have gone just outside the gate and given the exact same message. However, Planned Parenthood didn't have to file charges.
 
Why can some talk out loud on private property but others can't pray?
I didn't watch the vid., was he praying or preaching? Or prayching?
 
Rev Mahoney is a good man in my estimation. Protesting is not the way Planned Parenthood will be toppled (if it ever is toppled), but God bless him and his compatriots for speaking out and being willing to endure an arrest in response.
 
I wonder why Jesus never demonstrated? Maybe he could of been out protesting roman idols displayed in Jerusalem or maybe He could of protested gays in the Roman army as homosexuality was encouraged in the Roman army. Maybe He could protested how orphans, widow and bums were being treated.

Or maybe we should follow Christ's example? There is nothing in the Great Commission that says we should be out demonstrating and get hyper involved with politics and abortion clinics. I don't know but it seems a bit silly to me that a pastor would waste time testing to see if that really was private property?
 
He could have prayed 5 feet away and it probably wouldn't mean a hill of beans different to God.

If american Christians knew real persecution they wouldn't have to worry about jurisdiction on a sidewalk, they could worry about is someone going to come and cut their head off in the middle of the day and burn their church down.

Don't ASK for persecution cause you feel left out from the real martyrs.

Perhaps God would appreciate the great deal of personal sacrifice involved with being arrested in this case.

People like him are acting that we might not know real persecution. The boundaries will extend.

Remaining quiet and inactive will be our undoing. I don't think Rev. Mahoney was going about it the best way possible, but at least he is currently doing something. Anything.
