Saying that Jesus is Lord can mean different things to trillions of different peoples over the past 2,000 Years.
But i get your point.
I've read theories about this passage that suggest Paul was addressing the Gnostics; that may very well be the case. For example, since Jesus had a human body he was accursed, for the Gnostics believe there's nothing at all of worth in the material world. So if a Gnostic says "Jesus is accursed" because of his material body don't believe them.

if we say “Lord “ the meaning of this word needs to be real. To have a lord means a lot it makes you subject to his rule and will an acknowledgement that he is greater and your worship is given over to your lord and God
