Let us examine these things , perhaps some will see a view that has not yet been discuss on these boards.

The Church was already proceeding strongly in the providence of syria , Located in Antioch on the river Orontes, capital of Province Syria. Paul & Barnabas taught there & meet with the church , the body of beleivers in Christ Jesus , the time spent was one whole year.

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Onward together ...

In thee book of Acts 13:14-15 Paul & his party , enter the synagogue on the Sabbath in Antioch in Pisidia , they took a seat then , after a reading of the Law & The Prophets , were given the moment to address the Jews & Gentiles of Antioch.

Read Acts 13:15-41 to understand clearly the message Paul address to the Jews & Gentiles Believers. It was The Good News !!!

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Thee Gentile believers , already had prior knowledge of , The Law & Prophets see Acts 13:15

Don't stop keep reading it get's better !!!

Interesting that the Gentiles believers , decided to hear Paul preach the Good News the following Sabbath. What is even more fascinating , that Paul concur with them.

Acts 13:44
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

This was not a little sect of Gentiles , let us go back a few verse in chapter 13
Did you catch that , almost the whole city Acts 13:14 Antioch in Pisidia , came to hear the word of God, But why let us search the scripture shall we.

Onward , don't stop reading yet let us continue ...

In the book of acts there is a recorded account upon , the synagogue of the Jews in Berea . Received The Word with all readiness , many of them believed & also the Greeks that were present.

Acts 17

Paul and Silas at Berea

10And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few

Interesting

Another account , in the book of Acts concerning not only the Jews but those in Corinthians. Crispus the ruler of the synagogue , believed on the Lord with all his household. Paul continue with them a year & six months teaching.

Paul's Ministry in Corinth

Acts 18:8-11

8And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

In all these trails , persecutions , and works of God. Paul did not speak one word against the Sabbath , neither to the Gentiles , Jews or to the Greeks that believe.

It was Paul custom to keep the sabbath Acts 17:2 ,but he did not force the Gentile to observe the day romans 14:5 , due that the Gentiles believers that seek God , already having prior knowledge of the law. They Honor The Lord.

Remind yourself of the Gentiles in Antioch in Pisidia Acts 13:14-15 , they have knowledge upon The Law & Prophets. Also to note , the Church Acts 11:26 in Antioch on the river Orontes, capital of Province Syria.

If this was not so , examine the scriptures , example how did Cornelius the centurion become a devout man that fear God. How did he teach his household to fear God.

Acts 10

1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

Who taught him to fear God , he must have been seeking the Lord & His Word.

These are just a few things to carefully examine , perhaps you may have overlooked them. Be wise and examine these things , don't just go with the flow of the majority.

History has proven that the majority has never had it right.

Examine these things , & i hope you have learn something significance , from this post.

Had Paul been merely "keeping sabbath" he would have been sitting quietly doing nothing. But since the Lord used the sabbath to do good works, Paul was doing a good work by preaching the Gospel on the sabbath days.

Indeed those were the very days when he could open the Scriptures to both Jews and Gentiles (since many were attending the synagogues). And here is the irony. The Jews -- who should have gladly received the Word and been saved -- mocked and resisted Paul (generally) whereas the Gentiles gladly received the Word and were saved.

Let us not forget Paul's subsequent teachings on the sabbath days as well as the Lord's Day. When Paul attended Christian meetings it was on the Lord's Day. But the sabbath days were golden opportunities to preach the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles gathered in the synagogues.

Few will argue the fact that for the first 3 centuries most of the Church observed both the Sabbath and the first day of the week (Sunday), as I do now. The question remains whether the NT teaches that Sabbath observance is necessary for any reason. IMO it does NOT. I personally believe that there is great benefit in observing the appointed times of Lev 23, (including the Sabbath) not under law, but in appreciation of their significance in Jesus' earthly ministry. I strongly encourage others to do likewise.

I also understand, and fully agree, that their observance is not and was never commanded of non=Jewish believers.

Sabbath observance and observance of the other appointed times should NOT be done under compulsion of law by any believer! If the appointed times are observed by believers, the observance should be completely voluntary, and from the perspective of how they explain various sayings and actions of Jesus, whom we are to follow.

[h=3]Colossians 2:17 Context[/h]
14Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. 16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. 18Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. 20Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinance
Paul said sabbath is only a shadow of Jesus, respect Jesus is all you need, respect sabbath and not Jesus than you miss the point

NOT another thread on an old heretic topic,

The Church was already proceeding strongly in the providence of syria , Located in Antioch on the river Orontes, capital of Province Syria. Paul & Barnabas taught there & meet with the church , the body of beleivers in Christ Jesus , the time spent was one whole year.
On the first day of the week?

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

sounds like it

In thee book of Acts 13:14-15 Paul & his party , enter the synagogue on the Sabbath in Antioch in Pisidia , they took a seat then , after a reading of the Law & The Prophets , were given the moment to address the Jews & Gentiles of Antioch.
because the synagogue was where he could get a hearing from Jews and Gentile proselytes

Read Acts 13:15-41 to understand clearly the message Paul address to the Jews & Gentiles Believers. It was The Good News !!!

Yes until he decided to leave the synagogues they provided hearers,

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath
.

The Gentile proselytes and God-fearers

Thee Gentile believers , already had prior knowledge of , The Law & Prophets see Acts 13:15

The Gentile proselytes and God-fearers

Don't stop keep reading it get's better !!!

Interesting that the Gentiles believers , decided to hear Paul preach the Good News the following Sabbath. What is even more fascinating , that Paul concur with them.

Their eyes were opened

Acts 13:44
And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

The word spread and even outsiders became interested

This was not a little sect of Gentiles , let us go back a few verse in chapter 13
Did you catch that , almost the whole city Acts 13:14 Antioch in Pisidia , came to hear the word of God,

God had brought revival to Antioch.

But why let us search the scripture shall we.

Onward , don't stop reading yet let us continue ...
Yes lets continue in 19.8-9 where he left the synagogue and taught daily in the school of Tyrranus for the next 2 years. LOL maybe you hadn't read that???

In the book of acts there is a recorded account upon , the synagogue of the Jews in Berea . Received The Word with all readiness , many of them believed & also the Greeks that were present.
He naturally went to the synagogue where he would get a hearing,

If this was not so , examine the scriptures , example how did Cornelius the centurion become a devout man that fear God. How did he teach his household to fear God.

Cornelius was a God fearer. Proselytes and God fearers used the synagogues. They were converts to Judaism
Acts 10

1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
SEE?

Who taught him to fear God , he must have been seeking the Lord & His Word.
That's why he went to the synagogue, to worship as a Jew.

These are just a few things to carefully examine , perhaps you may have overlooked them. Be wise and examine these things , don't just go with the flow of the majority.
As you can see I have examined the Scriptures. Jews and their converts went to the synagogues, Big deal.,,

History has proven that the majority has never had it right.
So all cults and sects like yours are the right ones????

Examine these things , & i hope you have learn something significance , from this post.
Yes that Paul left the synagogues and went to the school of Tyrranus

My brother when quoting the Scriptures do not quote what you think proves your point and leave out the veres that explain what the story is about. Chapter 11 says nothing of the Church meeting on Saturday, as a matter of fact by Luke recording that the Church meet for one year in chapter 11, then in 13:14-16 Luke records that Paul and Barnabas went into the synagogue at Antioch in Pisidia, no mention of the Church meeting, because they were not in the same part of Antioch where they entered a synagogue they were guests, in verse 14 because they sat down, then verse 15 show that they were asked if they had a word of encouragement and what did Paul do? He preached an evangelistic sermon verses 17-41,

13:14-16 “but they went on from Perga and came to Antioch in Pisidia. And on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.15 After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, say it.” 16 So Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said:”

You quoted 13:44 but did not quote the context, which shows that Paul was evangelizing to the Jews and Gentiles that had converted to Judaism, also notice the reation to the message by those that did not believe in verse 45, that was the second time Paul and Barnabas were in the synagogue, then they get chased out of town. Those same people stirred up presecution and chase them out of town, verse 50, that does not sound like one year of Church meets in a synagogue. Acts 13:42-46

“As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told them the next Sabbath.43 And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

44
The next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.45 But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began to contradict what was spoken by Paul, reviling him.46 And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
“‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”
48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.49 And the word of the Lord was spreading throughout the whole region.50 But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.51 But they shook off the dust from their feet against them and went to Iconium.52 And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

What I find interesting about you reading of these Scriptures that you believe show that the Church meet on Saturday says nothing of the sort. It simply states that Paul had a custom of going to the synagogues to preach the Gospel message to the Jew first, then he would go to the Gentiles, following what he says in verses 46-47 and Romans 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

We need to let the Bible says what it says and leave our preconceived idea and doctrines out of what the Bible says. The sad part is that most Churches in the world preach or teach topical sermons, so thier members read the Bible that way as well, taking a piece here a piece from there to make it say what they want it to say or what they have been taught what it says.

The Bible needs to be read and taught in context, verse by verse, book by book, so that it is understood in it's context and in the full council of God. Scripture needs to interpret Scripture when we do not understand something. Some times we need to get the cultural back round of Scripture to understand it.

God Bless.

In the book of Acts , Paul taught the Good News , not only to the Jews but also the Greeks along with Gentiles. Some were saved , while others did not believe. Now addressing Paul he preach The Good News to others , just as God has instructed us all to preach. If you meet someone on the street , will we not share with them The Good News on thee first day of the week , third day of the week or fourth day of the week ???

But what is being discussed upon , is God Sabbath , Paul custom in his walk.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Isa 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
Isa 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
Isa 28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Mar 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

Paul said that Jesus took the sabbath days away nailing them to His cross, therefore let no person judge you to keep the sabbath days, for they are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ,by the Holy Spirit, which the kingdom of God is within you,and this is the rest, and the refreshing.

But God said they would not hear.

The sabbath was made for man,and man for the sabbath, and it is people that is number one,and important, not the sabbath,so the sabbath can be voided out,and not applied anymore when it is spiritual.

The physical sabbath day is physical, until Christ came and made it spiritual.

Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

God created all things in 6 days, and rested on the 7th day,and a physical sabbath came about to celebrate the day God rested, and the creation of this earth.

Jesus went away to create a place for the saints, the New Jerusalem, and the saints celebrate that place, and a spiritual sabbath came about to celebrate that spiritual rest, and the creation of that place.

COLOSSIANS 2:14-17

Precept must be upon precept............

The above scripture is used by the “many” to distance themselves from Gods weekly Sabbath day of the 4th commandment. This is for those that may be interested in learning the real meaning of the scriptures and not that of those leading others to break the commandments of God to follow the traditions and teachings of man over the Word of God. So, what is Col. 2{16} really talking about.?

Let's use the scriptures interpret scripture.............................

COL. 2 [16]
Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the NEW MOON, or of the SABBATH DAY(S) <plural>:

EZEKIEL 45 [17] And it shall be the prince's part to give BURNT OFFERINGS, and MEAT OFFERINGS, and DRINK OFFERINGS, in the FEASTS, and in the NEW MOONS, and in the SABBATH(S), in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.

Here’s a scripture, same exact order as Col 2{16}, meat, drink, holy days (feast days), new moons, Sabbath(s). No doubt what so ever these 2 scriptures are speaking of the same thing. See how that on those days there was a sin offering made. The blood of Christ is now that offering. Col.2 and Ezekiel 45 are simply speaking of the meat and drink offerings which were written in the Mosaic law contained within the ordinances which were to take place on Gods annual festivals, new moons and His annual ceremonial Sabbath days and Holy convocations (Leviticus 23).

HEBREWS 13 [9] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE; NOT WITH MEATS, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. [10] We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle. [11] For THE BODIES OF THOSE BEASTS, WHOSE BLOOD is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. [12] WHEREFORE JESUS ALSO, THAT HE MIGHT SANCTIFY THE PEOPLE WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, suffered without the gate.

But now we are no longer under the Mosaic laws concerning the meat and drink offerings of Gods holy days, new moons and annual festival sabbaths and holy convocations. Jesus fulfilled the law. We are now under grace.

JOHN 6 [53] Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For MY FLESH IS MEAT INDEED, and MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.

When we let scripture interpret scripture it’s very clear what Col.2 is speaking about. The meat and drink offerings of those days are no longer to be kept and no one is to judge you for not keeping them because they were shadows pointing to Jesus.

NUMBERS 28 [9] And on the Sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a MEAT OFFERING, mingled with oil, and the DRINK OFFERING thereof: [10] This is the burnt offering of EVERY SABBATH, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

There’s the meat and drink offerings for the monthly and annual festival sabbath days that Col.2 [16] was speaking of. This was not a weekly requirement for the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] commandment of God’s Law (Exodus 20:8-11)

EZEKIEL 46 [6] And in the day of the NEW MOON it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish. [7] And he shall prepare a MEAT OFFERING, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

The meat offering for the new moon that was spoken of in Col.2 [16].

LEVITICUS 23 [4] These are THE FEASTS OF THE LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. [5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is THE LORD'S PASSOVER. [6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread…… [13] And the MEAT OFFERING thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savour: and the DRINK OFFERING thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.

In all the feast days (holy days) meat and drink offerings were written into the laws of commandments contained in the ordinances. The above scripture points out the holy day of Passover when Jesus was crucified.

HEBREWS 9 [1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.... [9] WHICH WAS A FIGURE for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;[10] WHICH STOOD ONLY IN MEATS AND DRINKS, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.[12] NEITHER BY THE BLOOD OF GOATS AND CALVES, BUT BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Once again, the 1st covenant had ordinances which stood only in meat and drinks which were a figure! A shadow!

EPH.2 [15] HAVING ABOLISHED in his flesh the enmity, even the LAW OF COMMANDMENTS CONTAINED IN ORDINANCES; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;[16] And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

COL. 2 [13] And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

ISAIAH 24 [5] The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, CHANGED THE ORDINANCE, broken the everlasting covenant.[6] Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

But in this “Day of the Lord” scripture it seems the many will go on believing what they’ve been taught by their sunday mourning pulpiteers. They will continue to believe the commandments mentioned in Eph.2 and Col. 2 are the 10 commandments and not the law of commandments contained in the ordinances

The “many” claim that the sabbath was the shadow of Christ. But what do the scriptures say

COL.2 [14] BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;[15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.[16] Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:[17] WHICH ARE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME; but the body is of Christ.

COL. 2:14 and EPH 2. 15 What is the meaning of the handwriting of “ORDINANCES” that was blotted out and nailed to the cross?

GREEK meaning; blotting out (G1813; ἐξαλείφω; exaleiphō; ex-al-i'-fo; means to obliterate; erase; wipe away) the handwriting of ordinances which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way nailing it to the cross. The Greek words used here is handwriting G5498 χειρόγραφον; cheirographon; which means; hand written legal document which is combined with ordinance G1378 δόγμα dogma dog'-mah From the base of G1380; which means; civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law: - decree; The Greek meaning of handwriting of ordinances in V14 is a hand written legal document or book of civil, ceremonial and ecclesiastical laws. These are the laws referred to in verse 14 that have been erased and are nailed to the cross.
The handwriting of ORDINANCES {Mosaic laws for meat and drink offerings and annual festivals that have their fulfilment in Jesus} has been blotted out. They were the shadows. They were all prophetic in nature, teaching the plan of salvation which pointing to Jesus as the true lamb of God and our great high priest and His Work on our behalf in the Heavenly Sanctuary. (Leviticus 1; 3-12; 14-17; 22-23; Number 6-8; 15; 28-29; Deut 12; 33; Ex 25:8; John 1:29; 36; Rev 5:6; 1Cor 5:6-7; Heb 8:2-13; 9:1-28)

The first covenant had ORDINANCES which stood ONLY in meat and drink offerings which were a figure. A shadow

EZEKIEL 46 [14] And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a MEAT OFFERING continually by a perpetual ORDINANCE unto the LORD.

Meat offering by ordinance. There ya go. Hebrews 9 was ofcourse correct

HEBREWS 10 [1] For THE LAW HAVING A SHADOW of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with THOSE SACRIFICES WHICH THEY OFFERED YEAR BY YEAR continually make the comers thereunto perfect.[2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.[3] But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.[4] For IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND OF GOATS SHOULD TAKE AWAY SINS.

Hebrews 10 says it all. The shadow of the law was the offerings (the meat and drink offerings). Hebrews 10{1} says that plain and clear. The Word does not say the Sabbath was the shadow of Christ which really makes no sense at all

NUMBERS 19 [2] This is the ORDINANCE OF THE LAW which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

Before Christ the red heifers lived their lives in fear and trembling, thinking they might be next offering. No worries no more.

JOHN 6 [55] For my flesh is MEAT indeed, and my blood is DRINK indeed.

We are no longer under the law concerning the meat and drink offerings {the shadow}. Jesus FULFILLED that portion of the law. Its all grace now! Jesus Himself said “For my flesh is MEAT indeed, and my blood is DRINK indeed”.

COL. 2 [16] Let no man therefore judge you in MEAT, or in DRINK, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the NEW MOON, or of the SABBATH DAYS:

Col.2 {16} is used by all Sunday morning denominations so as to rid themselves of Gods Sabbath day. It’s also used to go against Gods laws concerning eating unclean things such as the portly porker. Can their doctrines be found in the scriptures by looking at the followers of the RISEN Christ?

ACTS 17 [2] AND PAUL, AS HIS MANNER WAS, went in unto them, and three SABBATH DAYS reasoned with them out of the scriptures,[3] Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.

Paul as his manner was... still keeping the Sabbath…………………..

ACTS 10 [11] And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: [12] Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. [13] And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. [14] BUT PETER SAID, NOT SO, LORD; FOR I HAVE NEVER EATEN ANY THING THAT IS COMMON OR UNCLEAN.

Peter refused to eat the unclean thing even after the risen Christ………………..

ACTS 10 [28] And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but GOD HATH SHEWED ME THAT I SHOULD NOT CALL ANY MAN COMMON OR UNCLEAN.

Verse 28 explains the great sheet. No man is now unclean…………………………….

JOEL 1 [13] Gird yourselves, and lament, YE PRIESTS: howl, YE MINISTERS of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for THE MEAT OFFERING AND THE DRINK OFFERING IS WITHHOLDEN FROM THE HOUSE OF YOUR GOD. [14] Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord, [15] Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

Doesn’t look good for some, come the Day of the Lord.

NUMBERS 18 [8] And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, BY AN ORDINANCE for ever.[9] This shall be thine of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: EVERY OBLATION of theirs, EVERY MEAT OFFERING of theirs, and EVERY SIN OFFERING of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for thee and for thy sons.

Above scripture confirms that the offerings are also called oblations

ISAIAH 1 [10] Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.[11] To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I AM FULL OF THE BURNT OFFERINGS of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.[12] When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?[13] BRING NO MORE VAIN OBLATIONS; incense is an abomination unto me; THE NEW MOONS AND SABBATHS, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.[14] Your new moons and your APPOINTED FEASTS my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

Bring no more vain oblations in the new moons and the monthly and annual ceremonial Sabbath feast days. WHY? Because Jesus nailed these offerings (oblations) to the cross. The 10 commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) were never nailed to the cross only our sins were through Jesus and the ceremonial laws of Moses that were used for the forgiveness of sins along with the feast days that pointed to the life, death, resurrection and ministration of Jesus as the lamb of God and our great High Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

HEBREWS 10 [7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. [8] Above when he said, SACRIFICE AND OFFERING AND BURNT OFFERINGS AND OFFERING FOR SIN THOU WOULDEST NOT, NEITHER HADST PLEASURE THEREIN; WHICH ARE OFFERED BY THE LAW; [9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, WHICH HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND. [10] By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. [11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: [12] But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Hebrews 10 explains exactly what Isaiah 1 was speaking about. He takes away the 1st covenant {the meat and drink offerings} and established the 2nd covenant {the body of Christ}

The new covenant is all about the blood of Christ. Not changing the law....but fulfilling the law

ZECH.9 [9] Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, THY KING COMETH UNTO THEE: HE IS JUST, AND HAVING SALVATION; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.[10] And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from river even to the ends of the earth.[11] As for thee also, BY THE BLOOD OF THY COVENANT I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water

Verse 9 definitely prophecies of the coming Jesus. Verse 11, Jesus is called the blood of thy covenant

HEBREWS 12 [23] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,[24] And to Jesus THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT, AND TO THE BLOOD of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

New covenant...blood

LUKE 22 [19] And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. [20] Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, THIS CUP IS THE NEW TESTAMENT IN MY BLOOD, which is shed for you.

New testament...blood

HEBRE WS 9 [1] Then verily THE FIRST COVENANT HAD ALSO ORDINANCES of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

Old covenant...blood of goats.....The meat and drink offerings. There is that word “ordinance” (dogma) being used again which means; civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical Mosaic laws: that were written in the book (Ephesians 2:15 and Colossians 2:14)

HEBREWS [4] FOR IT IS NOT POSSIBLE THAT THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND OF GOATS SHOULD TAKE AWAY SINS.[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:[6] In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.[7] Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.[8] Above when he said, sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;[9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND.

He taketh away the first {covenant}, that he may establish the second.

JOHN 6 [53] [54] Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. [55] For MY FLESH IS MEAT INDEED, and MY BLOOD IS DRINK INDEED.

And there’s the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]……………….

MATTHEW 5 [17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Jesus did not come to change or destroy the law. The Sabbath is still to be kept. He came to fulfil what was written of Him in the books of the law.

When speaking upon the majority , it is a reference to scripture . As in the days of Noah , Lot , Elijah and so fourth. The whole world will worship the Beast.

God people will be persecuted , for not going along with the majority , Hindu religion has nothing to do with the God of Abraham , Isaac & Jacob who has glorified His Son Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.

These are the majority shalom

Very well observation & understanding upon these things, but it is up to the individual to study them.

Thee Book of the Law & two tables of testimony , are not the same . This is were the individual has to begin there studying. Understanding thee difference of these two is key . To have clarity of the book of hebrews .

Which Law did God write unto there hearts , not in tables of stone , but in fleshy tables of the heart.

But till then , there will always be strife against those that understand Paul clearly. It's is very startling to see , members on this particular thread , making excuses to justify that Paul only enter the synagogue , just to convert Jews on the Sabbath.

Yet Paul himself was Jewish and it was his custom , he taught the Good News to The Jews , Greeks & Gentiles.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Well...at least people will have NO excuse to claim 'they did not know !
The only problem is that God will tell the Sabbatarians that they were more interested in RESTING than in working for Him.

There was only one scripture that Jesus, Paul, and Peter taught from. That is the Old Testament. Paul calls this "Old Testament the "Gospel of Christ" in Rom. 1. It was inspired by God. Jesus said of it:

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

The preaching that the Bible doesn't teach us to keep the 10 commandments, including the 4th, is fascinating. In order for this mainstream tradition of rejecting God's Sabbath and creating their own to stand, it must be necessary to ignore, omit, preach against, the SAME Scriptures that Jesus taught Salvation from.

2 Tim. 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The preaching that God doesn't command us to honor Him with obedience to the 4th Commandment, or the First, is amazing given what all the scriptures they had say about it. I mean, come on, it is no wonder Jesus and His Apostles honored God with obedience to His Sabbath. The Gospel of Christ teaches nothing less.

The only problem is that God will tell the Sabbatarians that they were more interested in RESTING than in working for Him.
I'm not sure it is the Sabbath-keepers who are interested in RESTING only...it seems to come more from the 'other side...I for one am constantly bringing up the the need to 'assemble before God to be instructed on the Sabbath as per scripture...and to do good works.
what is happening is that it falls on 'deaf ears owing to their refusal to 'turn to the (real) Lord to be healed'. Mat 13v15 For this people's heart is waxed gross and their ears are dull of hearing and their eyes they have closed.....and should be converted , and I should heal them.
Because they are DISobedient (not turning to the REAL Lord) they can not hear instructions to be healed...there is a definite ORDER to follow - FIRST turning to the One who can heal them of deatness.
God sends His servants to 'turn the deaf and blind in the right direction but....ALAS...they will not be turned....even with kindness and goodwill !
