acts 20:20-31 "You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. I HAVE DECLARED to both JEWS AND GREEKS that THEY MUST TURN TO GOD IN REPENTANCE and HAVE FAITH IN our LORD JESUS.
“And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there. I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me. However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; MY ONLY AIM is to FINISH THE RACE and complete the TASK the Lord Jesus HAS GIVEN ME—the task of testifying to the good news of GODS GRACE. (titus 2:11-15)
“Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about PREACHING THE KINGDOM will ever see me again. Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you. For I have not hesitated to PROCLAIM TO YOU. KEEP WATCH OVER YOURSELVES and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he BOUGHT WITH HIS OWN BLOOD .I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. EVEN FROM YOUR OWN NUMBER MEN WILL ARISE and DISTORT THE TRUTH in order to draw away DISCIPLES AFTER THEM. SO BE ON YOUR GUARD! Remember that for three years I never stopped WARNING EACH OF YOU night and day with tears."

it is frustrating to share Gods word when you present scripture of paul Himself, in His own words saying this to His loved ones in ephesus as he was ready to depart forever. there are so many false doctrines built out of pauls epistles being distorted, yet we have acts and all He says of His ministry as recorded by Luke who was one of pauls travelling companions and also a writer of the gospel of Luke, we know that also mark ( john mark) another companion of pauls who wrote the gospel of mark according to peter, who was marks tutor....anyways these are a few of the fallacies i hear about paul, and SHOULD be made clear by these scriptures, in any translation. I think if more of us would take scripture like this realizing paul is the one saying it, there is clarity to be ADDED to the things we read in the epistles. If you look first at paul in acts, His epistles are so much more connected to the 4 gospels.

for instance here we have the idea that " paul never taught the kingdom, he taught only grace" this scripture above is paul saying " i preached the kingdom to you night and day with warnings, watch yourselves, be on guard. we see also paul himself saying as He does elsewhere his singular focus is to honor the work Jesus gave him to do , then we remember " you are new creations created in Christ Jesus to do good works prepared FOR YOU TO DO in the service of the Lord who died for you." and add the two bits of knowledge to one another to make a more complete message, it completely STIFLES us when we look at 1 principle or peice and refuse to add the rest to what we think we know.

why isnt scripture like this which is paul saying plainly things about his ministry but we then go argue " paul never taught the kingdom" " paul never taught repoentance of sin" " paul taught finished works only"......where is paul saying clearly like he is here, that "obedience is bad, that we just rest and do nothing, that grace means were saved even if we continue in sin? Were does paul teach all of these strange ideas when He is saying plainly what He taches in more than one place

acts 26:20 "First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds."

other places as well.....but no one seems to regard what is made plain, we then want to go reason from obscure scripture whther paul taught us that repentance is necassary whether paul taught the kingdom, whether we put faith in Jesus, whether it matters to salvation how we live, our actions, whether were called to go to work for God or just " rest and depend on what he did already" is God encouraging us to be lazy and live as we wish? or to repent of what crucified the Lord, and Go to work in the kingdom by believing the words He left full of truth for us to Know and also depending on His death and resurrection which set us free from death in the first covenant and Gave us the way of Life ?

if we just believe what is clear not caring who shared this truth or that truth, and then move on to a different subject, a people can really grow in the things of Godd.....just an unwarranted thought
