First off I would like to thank all of you who have been kind loving and praying for poor andrew, I have spoken with him and have done what I could for him and I hope he comes back and is doing batter However for those who were judgmental and ssaid horrible things to him and about him and you know who you are, I have this to say. Honestly I am dissapointed, I expected better from people who claim to be Christians. We are called to be love we are not righteous in any way and are all sinners and I am going to have to ask anyone who says anything judgmental or does not have anything nice to say for him to kindly back off because I will report you.

Honestly what kind a Christian goes around judging people who need our help? I read the things that were said honestly I am fuming but I am doing my best to reply calmly, it really hurts me inside knowing that poor andrew was needing help and the things that were said to him and about him.... I have to go cool off before I reply in anger

The biggest reason IMO that sexual offenses are on the rise is that there is a major social stigma attached to having unnatural sexual arousal towards children (note I said arousal, not acting on it) as a result many men who have these unnatural urges do not seek out the help that they need to deal with it and end up acting out. Many therapists are completely unequipped to deal with sexual paraphilia and end up actually making things worse instead of better.

There are therapists who specialize in dealing with these types of issues and proper therapy has a phenomenal success rate for reducing or completely removing those abnormal sexual urges. In my experience (having dealt with dozens of men who were convicted of sex crimes against minors) every one of them had underlying emotional issues from childhood usually coupled with being exposed to sexuality either via porn of their own molestation at a young age. With the guidance of a good therapist those underlying issues can be processed and laid to rest which usually results in a normalization of sexual desires. Sexual paraphilias are not genetic, you are in no way doomed to live out your life desiring children if you seek out the help and are willing to do the hard work within therapy.

That part out of your posts was helpful.

My being sidetracked and derailed with helping Andrew with some consequences and prayer are now back on line.
Never once have I passed judgement on Andrew. We all struggle with sin and temptations. Some people have much more serious temptations to Conquer and Defeat then others. Jesus Christ should be the means of defeating these temptations.

Having knowledge of what the world system may do to you if you break the laws of the land and God.
I would think this would assist Andrew in his fight against the enemy.

I pray in Jesus name. That Andrew will beat his wicked temptation. AMEN!

Maybe if it weren't for the homosexual rights movement, modern psychology would have developed effective methods of normalizing sexual desire, over the last few decades. Regardless, here we are and people with feelings of pedophilia are dangerous and practically incurable. They're dangerous because the objects of their desire are so vulnerable, and people pursue and feed their sexual desires.

Well I pray you find a good therapist to help right now with the temptations, but please don't expect them to "fix" you. They may be able to(and probably can) help you fight this in the meantime, but know He is the only way to CHANGE yourself fully from the inside out. They will help you to be able to deal with this problem, God will take it from you and heal you from it. I will pray His wisdom and healing come into your life and save you from the sinful temptations in this world, He is the only way we can change on the level you want to change. Our will power, or the understanding a therapist can offer are limited temporary things, Gods Spirit is the only power that changes hearts completely.
