No one controls us makes us do say anything we don't want to. So this talk by you should not ever be allowed here or any where by a believer in the lord Jesus Christ king of kings lord of lords who took our place and gave us a new spirit new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness . We are told by GOD Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths but that which is good helpful, building up of others according to their needs. So bring grace to the hearers. As David said against thee and only thee have I sinned and done evil in your site.

So we can say were making fun of so and so yet that so and so? As Christ said if you have done it to the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me. That least is you also and me. Yeah its HIS kids we make fun of. As if "I don't believe in that" gives us a right to make fun of it? The fact you could be wrong then the one we are really making fun of is the sweet holy Spirit.

We need to make a choice...we follow Him or we don't. We talk act like the world or we don't. No one controls us. Simple fact is if its in us that is what comes out our mouth.
Sorry, I am not as perfect as you.

I watched those 2 videos, it only goes to show it's business as usual. Has Benny really repented? Then why didn't he rebuke those guys asking for 500-1000 dollars like he said he was going to do? Promise not kept.

Here's what someone else said about Benny's repentance:

What hits home is the fact that Benny hasn't sold anything nor given back anything.

Oh yes, his investments are protected.
he that is without sin throw the first stone.

Do you make a specialty of cynicism?
What's cynical about calling out a Christian con artist? Seriously. I'm curious to know how anyone could justify someone like like Hinn conning people out of money in the name of Jesus. Do you think I should just roll over and pretend it's not happening. Maybe if we ignore it, it will go away.

scripturally we are to let our "yea" be "Yea" and our "nay" be "nay", anything else misses the mark

The Pentecostals never grew up. They stayed immature and made a movement out of their experiences. The Charismatics soon followed and did the same. Now, "Pentecostal" and "charismatic" descriptions are as meaningless as "Christian".

One can tell much about a group according to how they label themselves. Protestants always amused me by how they derived their identity from the very thing they despised.

God does not acknowledge any division of the church except for location.

No one threw any stones, so your statement is exaggerative. But Jesus said to judge with a righteous judgment, and that's what we're doing. We are merely observing what's in front of us as others have done, and acknowledging the truth about the matter. How else can one avoid getting deceived? If someone (like Jesus or John the B.) said to someone "you brood of vipers," would you then claim he is throwing stones?

i've read the complete Canon several times and the New Testament alone even more. in all of the Church settings and teachings or preaching i've never read any congregation as dead as the majority of Churches are today. so are you saying that once the Bible was written Church Service became a place for the DEAD to go and congregate? and that is classified as mature? so the Bible Churches and gatherings we read about were never matured?

I made no inferences either way about any other groups beyond those of Pentecostal and Charismatic origin.

God used the authentic parts of the Azusa Revival to reintroduce the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to the church. He didn’t require much, because much wasn’t required. Our Father poured out His Spirit so that the people could experience Him and the power He carries. But, like Peter on the mount of transfiguration, the leaders sought to build a movement around the Holy Spirit and His appearing. That’s when it went off the rails. And God moved on.

Now, He’s raising up fathers: men who walk in the power of the Spirit without the silly laughter, jumping around, histrionics that the Charismatics embarrass themselves with. The Charismatics should have never defined themselves by spiritual manifestations because now they revel in the manifestation even when it is clearly demonic. With their senses so dulled, they are unable to discern the truth. Our distinction is in Christ alone as the body of Christ and in The Living God as our Father. God is building a house, a multi-generational family. And the children are to grow up! God forbid they languish in self-induced infancy.

you might be right! but i also see another view here no one ever addresses.

have you ever read John Wesley and others from 1500's to 1800's? they were always keeping quiet and hiding in homes and a different home each time they gathered in order to not get caught by either the RCC/Catholics/or the Government. so what we have Today, in "many denominations," that seem quiet and proper is the direct result of men of God fearing man rather than fearing God. they controlled their congregations to keep from getting into trouble. you know UNLIKE Peter and Paul who were in jail almost once a month or more. those days are over man. we haven't cared about the Government tossing us into jail for over 100 years. we still preach against homosexuals and same sex marriage while the majority of denominations are making them clergy. we still preach against political correctness. we listen to God over the rules of man when it goes against God.

i always hear modern day preachers commenting on preachers from the 16th to 19th centuries as being astute, controlled, mild mannered, etc. and they were. you know why? they were chicken scared to death is why.

in some of John Wesley's notes, he documents witnessing dancing in the Spirit, Speaking in Tongues, he called them the "Holy Shakes." this was happening in basements and deep woods keeping hidden. you know what else John Wesley wrote? he never Spoke in Tongues but desired God would give him that Gift.

personally, i think God did not give him that Gift because he was CHICKEN YELLOW of man when he should have been fearing God.

I ignore it. I've never met anyone deceived by it. I see them on TV say give so I can have a nicer house because God wants me to be rich and people give it to them. There isn't any conning involved. If people are willing to do that what can you do?

Do you say "You do realize that he just said give and he will buy a bigger house with it right?" And they say , "Yes, I want him to be blessed with a bigger house so I am giving." So not technically a conn. They are doing these things with open eyes. It has gotten so bad they don't have to conn anyone today. They can be brutally honest and tell people they are buying watches and diamond jewelry with the offering and people will give to it. No trickery.

Proverbs 2:10-15:

When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
To deliver you from the way of evil,
From the man who speaks perverse things,
From those who leave the paths of uprightness
To walk in the ways of darkness;
Who rejoice in doing evil,
And delight in the perversity of the wicked;
Whose ways are crooked,
And who are devious in their paths;

I don't think that is typical of a Charismatic church. The WOF had some of that in the early 1990's, and before. They are Charismatic, but not all Charismatics are in the WOF movement.

Wesley traveled all over England on horseback preaching to people. Some people threw bricks at him. He kept preaching. Why do you call him a 'yellow chicken'?
