When God created this universe, it was perfect. There was no sickness, no death, people had direct access to God and thus to His wisdom and knowledge; man enjoyed a single pure spiritual language. Creation was perfect.

Then man sinned and fell. That opened the door to sickness and death and ignorance. Man sinned again at Babel and lost his singular language. Creation was no longer perfect.

But God promised to send Someone who would restore all of creation to it's pre-fall perfection.

So now we have the Bible canonized, and even tho it itself is the perfect word of God, creation is still suffering sickness, death, ignorance, and incompatible languages. Creation itself remains in an imperfect state.

It won't be until Christ returns that creation will once again be made perfect. In the meantime, we have healing to fight sickness and death, words of wisdom and knowledge to combat ignorance, tongues to speak to God with. Thru the Holy Spirit we now have perfect solutions to use in an imperfect world.

When perfection is restored to creation, healing will cease because no one will be sick or dying. Words of knowledge and wisdom will cease because we will have direct access to God's knowledge and wisdom. Tongues will cease because that one singular language will be restored.

Perfection does not come from a Book. It comes with the returning Christ.
