Every. Single. Deviance. in the human condition started with Adam's fall. satan has had every generation since to sew abnormalities into our very dna. God never created anyone to be homosexual. But satan has put it in us since birth to go astray from God. Some are liars/con men, some are thieves, some adulterers and some homosexuals. Like Jesus said, there are many many paths that take you away from Him. Homosexuality is just one of them.
But, God does say that sexual sins receive greater scrutiny, in that they are a debasement of self and He owns our self. We will be called to account for how we manage His property.
Science has proven actual physical differences in people that lead them one way or another. While not created homosexual, one can be born so, by no other virtue than the infirmity satan has penciled into our dna. We can never blame anyone for that fact, it is not an option on the showroom floor. Instead of telling one that 'it's a choice', we should be encouraging one in the choice of how to deal with it.
Demons love to play with these infirmities. They know they don't even have to do anything and we by our flesh are drawn to step off God's path. How much more fun then to cast a little bait at us and see us run astray? We need to intercede for each other to bind these spirits who act against us. But we also need to be sensitive to the flesh that remains behind. It prods us even when they don't.
It is not a sin to be tempted to homosexuality. The sin only begins when you give place to it.
Father God, give us strength to not give place to any sin.
