Dear Friends,
I have not been on CC for a few days, unfortunately I injured my leg playing tennis at the weekend, i have to return to hospital today so I can be told what exactly I have done. I am praying it is not serious and that I shall walk again very soon pain is controlled and my daughter passed her driving test last week so Praise God she has been able to stay home & help out. Darling Husband travels a lot for work...so, I am praising God that this is just temporary blip , that all will be well and that this time i have 'slowed down' can be used well. I have time to spend building myself up in the Word, being still. I would appreciate your prayers for driving safety for my daughter as we go to the hospital today and have the challenge of the hospital car park! And that I will continue to fully rely on God, not get saddened by this and see and use all oppertunities for Him, to be a witness to my family ( especially DH) and friends. Also, that the injury is soon mended? Bless you & thank you, <><

Well, the good news is I shall have lots of time to see my friends on CC for a while! I have torn my Achilles, so am in a cast for 8 weeks...I shall pray it will not be so long as I shall heal well but if it is to be, then I have a wonderful gift of down time at my cottage, spring is here and my dogs are happy to have me home all day My daughter is here for a couple of days so tomorrow we are going to go and get a wheelchair from Red cross, you can give a donation for short term loans, this will be great as crutches on long distances are very tiring. Thank you for your prayers & kind thoughts, I am looking forward to finishing a study I started last week....God has a great sense of humor...it's called 'Prayers that Heal'

I will be praying for complete recovery and speedy healing. I am sorry this happened to you. I know what your going through a tad. I fell down my daughters stairs last year at this time. They think I broke my tail bone or really badly bruised. Didn't get xray as there was no point to the healing process. I had plenty of time to be in the Word and just time to be still.

I now look back and see God's hand in it all. Sometimes we need to be put down in order to look up.

Thank you my friends, yes, God will turn all to good for those who love Him and I do love Him! I shall have lots of time to be still and to read, listen to music, play my beloved cello, water colouring, get the cross stitch out and my dogs are so happy! I shall not be bored, the time will be precious and I am thanking God for it. Now the cast is on, foot in position to relive presssure on rupture, there is not much pain at all . Normally i feel guilty being indulgent in my hobbies.....but not for now now i shall just enjoy! Tomorrow my daughter will collect a wheelchair for me that I can borrow, will make life a little easier. Fortunately the cottage is mostly on the flat, couple of steps so very manageable. I give thanks this is temporary, makes you grateful for mobility....showering with 1 leg and a plastic bag on the other....is a tad challenging I appreciate your thoughts & prayers xxx <><

Hugs Hattiebod, I was confined to bed or chair from a back injury for six months , thought Id never survive it.
But praise God, Jesus blessed each day and brought many gifts and wisdom during that time.
I pray the same for you in Jesus.
