Please pray for my family

Hi, so I'm a christian and no one else in my house is so sometimes it's hard. My dad believes in evolution, my mom says she believes in God and stuff, but she won't come to church because she feels judged and I think she believes just by being a good person you can go to heaven. Than, there's my 16 year old brother, when we were younger he went to church with me, but when he hit about 6th grade....he stopped going and soon got sucked into the ways of the world. Smoking ciggerettes, pot, gettin in fights, stealing. Today he got in a lil more trouble and he's a smart boy, but he doesn't try in school and I worry about him so much. I can't even have a simple conversation with him about his day, he's not interested and I feel like I've lost him. I've even tried talking to him about the bible or asking him his beliefs and all we do is fight. So, I just ask that you pray for me, that I can at least share the word to my family because sometimes I get scared and stuff. Also, pray for my brother as he's having a rough time right now and that he will stay out of trouble. Thank you so much :)
 
Hey ChurchGirlSwag, I'm praying for you in agreement with your prayers for your family! It's a hard thing sometimes to be patient while praying for loved ones, but don't give up! =]

It is wonderful that you do what you can, but remember that ultimately it is up to them (it is not your fault that they do or do not do things).

Sometimes you just need to lay low and get on with your life. You have done all you can.


There Serenity Prayer pretty much sums it all up:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
