I need prayers. My family is going through a very dark time. I am in some legal trouble and I am scared. I have tried to do the right thing and I try to be a good person. I got wrapped up in a negative situation and now I am paying for it. I have prayed for God's mercy and mercy on my family. Everything seems so dark right now. Please pray for God to get us through.

So sorry you're going through a difficult time right now. I'm about to pray for you now.

Are you involved in a local church? Some of them have lawyers in attendance that may be able to help counsel you as to what to do about your particular situation. Also, they can come along side you to help.

I know your situation must seem hopeless, but it's not. Really it isn't. You're crying out to God for mercy and that's great.

Keep it up, He hears your cries - you can find a lot of peace and comfort in His word too.

If you've done something wrong, I'm sure you already know to repent and confess it to God. He promises to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We can truly have peace among the storms of life. His peace will guard your heart and your mind during the trial you're experiencing.

Philippians 4

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
 
Thank you Desert Rose, I have asked God for forgiveness. This issue has been going on for over a year. Hopefully we will get closure whatever that may be. I am scared and very scared for my family. People are cruel and resentful. I pray for everyone involved. I feel my husband and my relationship fading away and it scares me. Thank you for your kind words and prayers ??????
 
Praying for you and your family sister. I know that God is already ahead of you. Trust God in this situation and be open to whatever the outcome may be because God is merciful, slow to anger and abounding in love. He will not leave you nor will he forsake you.

momdog8, Some words of encouragement for you in the Lord... Just keep in mind these words of truth... "If the Lord leads to it, then the Lord will lead you through it" not my quote, but there is so much truth in this one little quote. It may be the Lord is bringing you through something that needs to be healed & make whole. I don't know the magnitude of what you and your family are dealing with, in regards to the court etc.. but I can see by the tone of your post, that this is a desperate situation that is causing a lot of stress and turmoil in your family's life. I don't know where your relationship with the Lord is? The most important step you can take at this very moment, is to completely surrender your life to the Lord & this entire situation you & your family are dealing with. If you have received the Lord as your "Lord and Savior & have surrender your life to Him, then this is the very foundation that is crucial in living a life of victory and peace.
Lord Jesus, I lift up momdog8 & her family to you in prayer.. Lord, even though there may have been some mistakes made that this precious family is dealing with the consequences of, Lord, you are a God of mercy & peace, and our Great defender in times of need. Give momdog8 the eyes of understanding to see things through the lens of truth. Walk this family through this storm as they keep their eyes fixed upon you. In You Lord there is forgiveness, redemption, mercy of hope. May this ultimately bring this family closer to You Lord, as You are able to make all things work together for good to those who love you. (Romans 8:28) In Jesus name..

oh yes, we will pay, and then prayerfully we will grow - but He always makes a way for us
to give Him the glory for getting us through the hardships of the wrong choices we make in this life,
IF we 'repent' and then 'turn-away' from the many old paths and depths of despair...

Wow, a whole year - so sorry for all you're going through. I was thinking about what your needs are and you're need of counsel. Here are some phone numbers you can call at least for prayer.

But I'm also thinking they may be able to help in some practical way too. At least that is my hope! But during the meantime, I'll keep praying for your desperate situation. I'm always amazed at how God knows our needs and how timely He is in coming to our rescue.

It also received this thought, that as Jesus rose victoriously from the cross, I believe you too will rise victorious from your situation.

That doesn't necessarily mean the problem goes away, but in the spiritual new you in Christ, you will rise victorious in your inner most being.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. It is very reassuring to share my troubles with people of faith. Please continue to pray as today is going to be a very trying and difficult day. I have been praying that my heart is open to listen to God and let him lead me. Sometimes I feel it is hard to hear him and I feel very alone. When this happens I feel I need to take control and that will only lead me into darker places. Lord please give me the strength I need. In Jesus name I pray. I pray for anyone else that is going through hard times. I want God to use me to help them as well.

Thank you and I will. It is confusing trying to navigate around. As of right now my family and I are having issues with social media and living in a small town. People are cruel and very judgemental. I continue to pray for strength and guidance.
