a novice at all this but I just can't stop rushing forward for more more more LOL
I don't even watch Netflix any more haha.
I did this one last night...
I was going to do the one I am working on now but found this song on my gen site... I must have written it in early January I would think, because I started around mid-December by putting old poetry to music, and then I moved into collecting Scripture verses around specific themes, which did not last very long because although the songs were nice enough and all, they just did not satisfy my creative urge... but anyways, this song came from that period between generating music for the older poetry and writing new material:

Jesus He Knows Me by Genesis
This isn't a 'christian' song but it's about Christian values and ministry. It's strange how the Church won't judge itself, even though Paul did judge the early Church through his letters, correcting wrong belief, false doctrine, false leadership and so on.
I guess that, if we won't judge ourselves, God has to raise up someone to speak a word to us to try and bring us to our senses. I am more thankful of a song like this than I am a hundred that try to paper over the cracks.
Genesis were careful to state that the song had been written about some of the excesses that they saw and wasn't written for the entire Church.
