I wrote it and then "gave it" to an ai music generator with a style prompt (actually tried it in more than
one generator and more than once // some songs I generate more than a hundred versions of and
then force myself to pick one if none of them are more or less exactly what I might have hoped for).
I do think it is one of my better songs, but then I like them all
Thank you so much and you are very welcome! I am glad you like what you hear so far. Father Forgive them is simply some haikus I wrote a few years ago, strung together. Some of them I also included in a song called Pain's Ambush, which was based on a poem I wrote in the late 80s of the same name, which I augmented with newer material from my now perspective as a Christian... so I used a similar style prompt. When I made Pain's Ambush into a song I knew so little about the whole process, and used to simply say things like, "piano driven melody with power ballad vocals" as a style prompt to direct the ai. Sometimes keeping it simple works, but I believe I also incorporated some metal element into it >>> uplifting dark metal rock with soaring passionate power ballad vocals etc etc. Heh. Anyways I am glad that you and others are finding my songs. I have not been doing this very long and feel like I have just kind of slowed down from the tidal wave it felt like I was on when I first started a few months ago. This song uses a country music-styled prompt in honour of my closest sister.I didn't listen to this one yet, but I just finished listening to "Father Forgive Them" on your YouTube page, and that song is really good too. The songs that I have listened to so far definitely seem to be Holy Ghost inspired to me. It is hard for me to find any good Christian music to listen to, and I really like these two songs. They sound even better with my headphones on. Thank you for sharing them.

Have you ever considered sharing your lyrics with Christian music artists? I just listened to "The Rock, the Cross, the Empty Tomb," and I could definitely imagine that being played on the radio or being sung in concerts.I have not been doing this very long and feel like I have just kind of slowed down from the tidal wave it felt like I was on when I first started a few months ago.
