Hmm... You should be able to PM other members. I'm not sure what's going on.

That should bring most of the village out for a good conversation.
 
You can use CC email to message one another if you are a registered user.
 
People have the option to turn it off, so maybe the person you are trying to contact has it off completely or maybe there is even an option to get PMs only from people on your friend's list...
 
He appears to have that setting off. I cannot PM him.

Hit the Settings tab at the top left corner.

When you are at the Settings page, follow the left column down to the link marked "General Settings" and click it.

Scroll down a few boxes on the General Settings page, and you will find two boxes- one allowing Private Messages and one disabling Private Messages.

Click the one enabling Private Messages and you will be golden.
 
If you still cannot exchange messages, it may be, like I said, a perk for people who post a certain small amount or spend however much time in the chat rooms.

A lot of forums do this to prevent people from dropping in and spamming/phishing their guests. That is why you see those hilarious open-forum phishing scams sometimes.

I already went there and the option to turn on or off PM's is not there.
 
I don't understand, you should be able to pm from day1...I'm confused. There is a gap under his "view profile" where there should be an option to "private message".
 
I think you have to reach 100 posts before you can PM. Of course, I could be remembering incorrectly.
 
Seriously dude, just spam my thread. You have an invitation. Post your favorite James White videos. He's the best Baptist since Spurgeon.

I've actually visited his Church met him in person.
