Patience to me is understanding,
ever growing with the change
Standing still and waiting on God,
when everything is out of range

Patience to me is endurance,
running this tedious race
Holding your tongue, not speaking a word,
when everyone's all in your face

Patience to me is a valuable virtue,
a gift of the Holy Ghost
Waiting for things of the upmost importance,
even when you need them the most

Patience to me is a renewing of strength,
for in it we posses our souls
It is worked through tribulation,
and helps us obtain our heavenly goals
