Nevermind. Please do some research into it all from a non-secular humanism perspective. Their job is to revise history to show them in a favourable light and also look to make Christians foolish and uneducated. Sucks to be them though. We wouldn't even have the modern scientific method or be able to reason without Christian beliefs and values.

There was a long and tedious discussion about the Earth being flat a few months ago on the Conspiracy Forum. Looks like I have unintentionally started another one.
It could be they meant to say that the sun revolved around earth.
They thought the earth was flat and the SUN revolved around earth.
Though truly I thought Res was joking about believing the earth is flat.

Funnily enough, the Greeks knew the earth to be round. I have Strabo's Geographica (very early first century AD) and his introduction is a wealth of info about why the earth is spherical. Seems that the belief was lost somewhere down the years and then rediscovered.

That's because so many people have been trampling on it that they've made it flat but stamping out all the bumps.
As I said, I am no expert on the subject, but it seems clear enough to me the leaders of the church refused to believe the earth revolved around the sun.

I came across the Nibiru 'Planet X' theory/belief last year. I guess that finding a ninth planet will feed in to those fears.
Lol that's an old one. The globe-earther conspiracy theorists probably playing up to that for to regain some popularity and interest from the public. They're running out of material lol, will probably have to fake a Mars landing soon.
