I thought it would be interesting if we could share/post our conversations with non-Christians people. Please post them here.

Here's an example of me having a conversation with co-workers yesterday:

Co-worker#1: How's your weekend? What did you get up?
Me: Oh, on Saturday I didn't do much, had to babysit and on Sunday, I went to church and then...

Co-worker#1: You went where? A church? I didn't know you were a catholic!
Me: No, Christian. Not catholic.

Co-worker#2: I didn't know you were religious!
Co-worker#2: Do you like.. what do you call it... fall down to the ground..like they do on television?
Me: No.

Co-worker#1: So you believe in Mary, and all the saints right?............
Me: What do you mean?

Co-worker#1: Like.... you pray to them? Right?
Me: No.

Co-worker#1: I thought you said you were a christian?!
 
It would be nice, but risk and, those who knew about it, could feel offended... I know it by experience: There was a time I publish one of my chats (...) and she felt upset, bitter, and molested.

Recently I made a video, with one who might be aun unbeliever... But I hid my face and also his (you know! There are privacy limits)

This reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend from awhile back:

Me: So you mentioned you were a Christian. Is it cool if I ask what it is you believe in?
Friend: What do you mean?
Me: Well, for example: The crucifixion and the redemption of the cross, as in Christ dying for people's sins.
Friend: Isn't that like...Catholic stuff?
Me: ...Ah, okay. Well, no. Are you thinking of like, rosaries and the visual depiction of Christ being crucified?
Friend: I don't know. Maybe. Why are you asking all this anyway?
Me: Since "Christian" is kind of an umbrella term and everyone sees things differently, I just wanted to pick your brain. Sooo...how's your soda?

She still self identifies as a Christian but does not live like one nor seem to hold the values or beliefs a serious Christian does. I'd like to talk more with her about it if she's okay with it soon; kind of get her to consider some stuff and maybe make a real commitment.
 
I got a similar one to that...

A work colleague and I got along quite well and became mates.


One conversation led to evolution. I told him I didn't believe in evolution so he asked me what I believe.

I told him not sure exactly how it has all happened but I believe in a God that helped make it all happen.
He was taken back quite a bit and said this..

Oh gee bro, I am not sure we can be friends..

I said what!!! why's that?

He said... Oh well because I am an atheist

I am like.. So what..?

He asked me.. Well does that bother you?

I said.. Nup, does it bother you I believe something different?

He said, nah I suppose not, I just thought atheists and God people cant get along....

Kind of cracked me up... I said don't worry man I am not going to judge you as long as your cool with my beliefs too.

We are still good mates 6 years on...

Talked with this friend about a month ago again. The conversation didn't get very far, but she said something to the effect of "I believe being a Christian means accepting God into your life."

Interesting choice of words. What do you all think of this statement (especially after reading aforementioned conversation)?
