Praise you in the storm

My lips shall sing too you in the storm,
As your love surrounds me ever so warm,

Too my knees I shall fall,
For with you at my side I am not so small,

You Lord are my reason I live,
As a broken heart too you I do give,

I will praise you in the storm,
As you reach down and keep my heart warm,

Lord I love you so much,
Thank you for continuing too give my heart a healing touch,

Your love is like a rush,
As you say little child listen too me hush,

I love you more than I can say,
As I sit here and pray,

I will sing and dance during this storm,
As my heart you are refining and it is becoming restored,

My heart may be bruised and broken,
But I will listen too the words from you that are spoken,

I will push forward in all that I do,
I will run in the fields with you,

I will dance in my tears as you catch them in your hand,
For I know I have a place in your home the promised land,

I will praise you each day I wake,
I will know that I am not your mistake,

Thought tears may fall from my eyes,
I will still look too the skies,

I will still hold on too you,
In all the struggles I may have in all that I may do,

I know with you I have a reason too live,
As here is my broken heart too you I do give,

I will praise you in the storm,
As you reach into my heart and keep it warm,

I will trust in you dear Lord my father and friend,
As I feel the love from the friends you do send,

I will not give up faith or hope,
The enemy can go away he has no place in my life nope,

I will dance in my tears and cry some more,
As with you I know that I can soar,

So Lord I will praise you in the storm,
As you reach down and keep my heart warm,

I will praise you with my heart and my lips and my voice,
For with you I have a reason, a hope, a choice,

For with you by my side I can't lose,
As I run too you it is you Lord that I chose,

I love you with all my heart and soul,
Thank you for coming in and making me whole,

As I end this song today,
As I fall too my knees too pray,


Know dear Friend, father and Lord I will,
Sit and listen real still,

I will praise you in the storm,
As you reach down into my heart and once again it is warm,

I will praise you each day and night,
As I follow you as I follow the light,

So as I end this poem from my heart that you have made warm,
Know Jesus I will never quit praising you in the storm,

Even if I have a broken heart so,
I will follow you where ever you lead me to go,

For the rest of my days I will praise you in the storm,
As I thank you for making my heart warm.
