Please pray for my sister Patty, she has gone through many problems lately and has heard so many false gospels. She was very depressed and sent me an e-mail saying she really doubts "the whole God has a plan for your life message" and "if God has a plan please tell me what it is". I told her that Christs plan was to bring glory to the Father by becoming a man and fulfilling the righteous requirements of the law that we could not meet and offering himself up as a sacrifice for the sin of the world and make a way of forgiveness for us which he proved by rising from the dead to make our justification possible.
I told her that in order to enter into Gods plan for us we need to go to Christ in repentance and confess that:
He is the one whose law we have broken.
He is the one who took on flesh and fulfilled the righteous requirements of his own law.
He is the one who paid the penalty for us breaking that law which is eternal damnation.
He is the only one who can forgive us.
And His resurrection proved he was the son of God and His sacrifice was accepted for the justification of those who believe in him.
I also added the verses of scripture for the Romans road.
