Uh...what? The word "witness" is used in at least a couple different ways in this thread. (?)

I can't tell which way you're headed here: Are you a big "military/industrial complex" fan...or are you anti-"phony war" like me? :)

"Worrying" is a straw man. I don't propose "worrying". Jesus (and the rest of the Bible, for that matter) has said to remain alert, watchful and prayerful. NOT (as you are virtually suggesting) block out any thoughts of the 'end times'.

If we do as Jesus instructs, we may improve our chances of "escaping all that is about to happen" --

Luke 21:36 -- "But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

So there it is, directly from Jesus...the opposite of what you are proposing. He tells us to keep a sharp eye out during end time events...events which He has described in some detail right there in Luke 21 (the Olivet Discourse - also found in Matt. 24 and Mark 13).

You chide me with "what are you going to do about it?"...and Jesus' answer is...keep a look out, stay watchful, stay alert AND "pray that you may be able to escape".

The end times is going to happen and there is nothing we can do to stop it.

That's another straw man you've set up: I never proposed "stopping" the end times. Good grief.

And when you say "end times"...there are different versions of the end times being presented to believers. There is the popular version which says "no need to worry ourselves - we'll be raptured up to heaven on flowery beds of ease before all the bad stuff happens".

Then...there is Jesus' version in which He forewarns the believers there will be a time of great darkness and great tribulation BEFORE the rapture: The Rapture Explained in Two Minutes

People who are not prepared will have a much greater likelihood of falling away from the faith into apostasy and on to their doom. There's a lot at stake in paying close attention to the Bible and it's instruction to heed closely end time events and to be "watchful" and prayerful.

Come on. Let's use some common sense here. Who among us (even casual) news watchers has gotten the impression over the years that Trump is a devout Bible-believeing Christian?? Come on. He has been a major, major 'partier'. A huge womanizer. He has gone through...like, four wives or something?

Whatever he (President Trump) was before, God has put it all behind His back. That is scripture. I have no stones in my hand...

Charlie Shamp is a true prophet. His prophetic words are recorded and are coming true.

Anything that was antichrist in our govt. is slowly being removed. Draining the swamp.

Please feel free to pray for Russia's navy too. I have no qualms with that. Just pray.
 
I believe Pence is a Christian. If the election outcome was Gods will it must have been for judgement otherwise he would have made Pence President instead of Trump.
