Dear follow Christians,

I'm thinking most if not all who view this site have compassion for

animals, (& have well looked after pets,) so could we please say

prayers for the animals of this planet ,as they are at the mercy of

mankind. Thankyou & God Bless x

I have nursed a non-religious palliative patient who ,when coming out of a delirium, said "you may not believe me , but I was at the Pearly Gates, they told me to go back as it was not my time yet." (she died a couple of days later).

I have later heard that your favourite pets will meet you at the Pearly gates.Great news for most:rolleyes:
 
I hope you get someone who's right for you, good news ion the pet front too....see my other comment...

I have 2 goldendoodles who sleep with my wife and I. We treat them like family, but there is not a single verse I know of that a pray is offered up to animals.
Also, although I don't think it's definitive, but I don't believe there will be animals in heaven that were alive on earth. (resurrected animals)
In Job, God doubled all the possessions he formerly had EXCEPT his children. Likely because they had a soul and were thus eternal.

i pray for them every night because i know there are sick monsters who have no respect for living, feeling, helpless, loving creatures.
 
I'm greatly moved by commercials depicting animals in great distress caused by the misuse, abuse, and neglect by humans. I have to turn the channel quickly or the images stay in my mind to haunt me at night so I can't sleep. However, when these images do haunt me, I channel it for prayer. And that goes ditto for children.

I definitely pray for animals to be rescued. And I rejoice when I hear of it because I know God is at work for His beloved creation.

People should not have animals they can't care for adequately.

People who are caught or busted in animal or children neglect and abuse should be thanking God I'm not in charge of their penalties because it wouldn't be pretty. A mere slap on the wrist with a fine would never, ever cut it with me. :mad: The world would know of my wrath.
 
Personally I believe God created everything and gave human kind stewardship over His creation. That's a huge responsibilty though. Although we may use animals, plants and the natural resources to our benefit, by no means are we to exploit the earth. Praying for animals is a step too far, taking responsibility for their wellfare isn't.
