QUOTE "But how would term the notion that a temple has to be rebuilt in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled? Where is a scripture that supports the view that a temple has to be rebuilt, or even will be rebuilt to this end?"
Paul wrote concerning the son of perdition in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God" The fact to consider is that paul wrote this prior to 70 A.D. and was excuted in Rome several years prior the destruction of the Temple.
So we would need to conclude that Paul was speaking of a future event, and in order for said event to take place, it would then be common sense to determine that another Temple will need to rebuilt.
Hear this word... The Jews will rebuild the Temple, the treaty will be passed and the vile one shall disanul the covenant. He is the chief of all false prophets before him, with mighty signs and wonders he will decieve many. He is imposing and fierce and will sway the world with his dark sentences, devilish wisdom that will consume the unwary and those that know not the scriptures, for so they have been appointed.
