Prayer against a slanderer

Hi, there's a female neighbour who constantly slanders me (this has been going on for close to a year now). She seems to have, as I learned, the gift of discernment (the ability to know another's thoughts, words & actions in the Spirit); however her gift is destroying my peace at home and in the neighbourhood since she is in the habit of telling people very private matters that go on in my home, sometimes lacing the truth with lies. Please pray with me that God should protect me against her and others who have joined her in mocking me and that God guides me as I seek legal counsel against her. Thank you.
 
How does she know about the very private matters gong on in your home? Is her gift of God or otherwise?

I join in praying for you to have peace, despite the situation. That you will keep your house under God authority, in all ways and that He will light your path and strengthen you, giving you faith to be all He promises you to be. She seems to be a christian so I'm guessing her gift is from God. Jesus had this gift, such that he knew all about the Samaritan woman he met by the well.
John 4:17- 18 (KJV) The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said to her, You have well said, I have no husband: For you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband: in that said you truly.

satan and his horde can tell you things about people too. Test the spirits.
 
what it seems she has is the gift of knowledge, which is rare, and God doesn't give that gift to put your business on the street, but rather to pray. I agree with RickyZ, Probably the same demonic forces (notice i said forces, not power) that are causing strife in your home are talking to her too. I will pray for peace in your home and neighborhood. also psalms 91 is very good protection:)
 
I do not know about such gifts and how reliable they are, expecially if you do not use them for good.
You and your neighbours seem to think, she has the ability.
Her mixing lies into the truth, might be a good indikator, that she is actualy conning the lot of you,
probably because her "gift" is not true (or no longer true).
You might want to pray, that people see her words for the gossip they are and pray for her (!), that she
may find out, that she does not need to be a mocking gossip, in order to be accepted in the neibourhood.
And that god gives you the right words, to talk with people.
As you wished, i am praying with you, for protection.
 
On Monday, May 20, I confided in someone who knows my neighbour quite well. Later, as I was about to get into my house, my neighbour said 'hello' with a smile. I thought I'd confront her, but I replied 'hello' (usually, we just ignore each other). I really do hope and pray that she stops this habit. I feel more at peace now, but will not let down my guard and will definitely continue in prayer. Thank you so, so much for joining me in prayer and for your words of encouragement. God bless.
