I feel so blessed with what the Spirit is speaking into my heart about healing, I must share. These prayers are for three-fold healing, not solely body, but full restoration in God. As He provides, I'll be writing and recording them upon soothing music (with mp3 link to download). Anyone can use them freely to boost the faith and renew the mind.
Prayer Devotional for Healing, Day 2 - Greet the King
There was this woman from the crowd in the Gospels that had a bleeding sickness. And she went to doctors for so many years, and they could not help her. Have you also looked for cure, for the wounded heart, the troubled soul, or the sick body? Hear then what this woman said about Jesus: if I could only touch the end of His garment, I shall be whole. And how much more shall we be whole, when Jesus is dwelling inside of us... if only touching the end of His garment has this powerful effect? Mary the mother of Jesus was our forerunner. Jesus, the fruit of her womb and the fruit of the Holy Spirit, lived in her and He has come to live inside of us, too, growing in us every day as we labor on the path of salvation. The Bible says, we have this treasure of the Holy Spirit in earthen vessels - which is our flesh. There is nothing that can dwell around God, and not be made whole and made alive. It is this beautiful nature of God, His nature of holiness, and this power of His Spirit that raised us from the dead. God continually makes all things new and restores them. In His holiness, there is no death or decay, He speaks life to us by His Word. He has said graciously to us when we were dead by our own fault, "LIVE", this was the Word of God to us - LIVE - while we were still dead... "LIVE". And we did live, and we do live, in Him. How shall the whole world not rejoice and greet His blessed presence!
So let us greet the King today with joy, like Jerusalem did, with palm branches! Let my heart greet His presence and be whole from any hurt of yesterday. Be whole, and praise God, my heart. Because He has given me a new heart. Let my soul greet His presence and be free from any bondage, addiction, sin or guilt. Praised God! Because He has restored my soul and set me free. Because I dont have to do anymore what I did in the past, and serve my own evil wants. I have been made a new creature, with a future, and the Holy Spirit is renewing me daily, through the washing of regeneration. Let my body also greet His presence, let every cell, every body part, from the greatest to the smallest, rejoice to its Creator as it is being made new, sharing in His wholeness, every smallest part sharing in His life, being sustained by the Word of God and cleansed from any impurity, conformed into His perfect life. Let every member in the body rejoice before Him and follow Him. We believe, and His healing and freedom rains upon us mightily, like a gushing stream. We are the ones who did not only touch the end of His garment. He has chosen to live in us, and has made us His temple. Every part of my body, my soul, and my spirit, welcome You, Lord. Through faith, we receive You. You have joined us to the joyous company of angels in Heaven, and You give us the cause for laughter in spite of all afflictions, because You have overcome the world and are mighty in battle to prevail over the enemy. I will rejoice in my King and Savior forever, because He is victorious, and He has also received me, and made me victorious with Him... How great the goodness of our Lord! I will meditate on this truth in my heart, Lord, and I do believe Your Word.
---Amen
