I feel so blessed with what the Spirit is speaking into my heart about healing, I must share. These prayers are for three-fold healing, not solely body, but full restoration in God. As He provides, I'll be writing and recording them upon soothing music (with mp3 link to download). Anyone can use them freely to boost the faith and renew the mind.
Prayer Devotional for Healing, Day 5 - The Repeated Commandment
The fifth book of the Bible is called Deuteronomy, and the word means The Repeated Commandment. We the men often don't get it the first time, and God repeats Himself for us. It is one thing to learn from the Word and agree with our tongues, but another to apply it in our hearts daily as we walk. Repeating the instructions of God, meditating on His Word, washing our minds in His thoughts, will grow us in this way, to obey God's Word inwardly and be whole, instead of being rotten on the inside.
We like to try and solve our own problems on our own and our minds race, and sometimes we are confused with what God wants. God told me once in the past in my anxiety, Your thoughts are many and they are all puffed up, so there is no place for My instruction to enter. Be still, so My Word can come to you. Let us give up our thoughts and our ideas, and make place for His instruction. His Word is so distinguishable from thoughts of man, it is like a two-edged sword, and carries such weight of Truth, that you just know it's the Word of the One who framed the worlds. Let us follow at all times what He has to say.
There is so much evil things and lies that we have learned during our lives. We grumble, we worry, we fear, but not God, we get angry and frustrated. They all come from the devil and he teaches these things for our destruction, just like he taught Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit. God says, you can be healed. God says, you can do all things with Me. God says, I am faithful in all My promises. Kick out that old man that is taught by demons and keeps yelling No, no and opposing the Holy Spirit and His plans to bless you! Where did our ways and unbelief bring us? All our ways are like a dead end street. Let us switch to His HighWay. Let us un-learn the old ways and return to innocence, before all these lies we have learned. The Word teaches us, that Love hopes and believes ALL THINGS. Selah.
