I feel so blessed with what the Spirit is speaking into my heart about healing, I must share. These prayers are for three-fold healing, not solely body, but full restoration in God. As He provides, I'll be writing and recording them upon soothing music (with mp3 link to download). Anyone can use them freely to boost the faith and renew the mind.
Prayer Devotional for Healing, Day 6 - Through The Storm
If you have been pressing on to conform your mind more into the mind of Christ, do not wonder if you are under an enemy siege. He has been sitting comfortably in your mind so far without resistance, but now he is being threatened by the Word of God and losing his house. It is like spraying a bug poison, when all the ugly bugs which had infested your house come out and crawl everywhere as they are dying. Do not let it trouble you, that it is alike with our thoughts. If the worst thoughts of these that you groom daily are being stirred up, it only means that the Word of God is working effectively. The sea of our mind is stirred up, and all waste laying on the bottom is now showing up on the surface to be prayerfully renounced and given to God. It does not mean that we should stop sprinkling our house clean, but that we need to exercize patience and trust in God and persevere - if we want a clean house.
Jesus had taught the disciples that we could have peace in the midst of a storm and rest peacefully: because He is in our ship, and yes, Jesus is on the boat with us. Let us keep centering our minds on Him and His Word, and watch the raging sea become more and more still, as the dawn of deliverance is breaking above our heads. Peace, be still, my mind - Jesus is Lord. I give all my fears and anxieties to Him. I give all my grudges, bitterness, resentment, grumblings and anger to Him. I give all my ugly thoughts that are not of God, to Him to utterly destroy them. Jesus, we pray, burn up all in me that did not come from You and still every movement of the flesh. Cleanse me, Jesus, and fill me with Your Spirit.
---Amen!
