This not a blog about environmentalism and not one asking you to sign petitions, lobby, or even change your habits. It is a blog written to call on God to show mercy to the animals of the earth. Let us pray for the endangered animals in the ocean together today.
Lord, You are not shocked by the state of this world today because You knew everything beforehand and shared it with us in Your Word. We should not feel surprised by these signs that "...this world in its present form is passing away" (1Cor. 7:31).
However, we know You care about animals or You never would have created them. You saved more animals than people on the ark! You remind us in Your Word that You provide them with food.
Today, we pray You would protect the marine habitats from coastal development, weather, and pollution. Please remember the reason for which You created the:
- Manatee
- Killer Whale
- Right Whale
- Bowhead Whale
- Angel Shark
- Daggernose Shark
Remember them and protect them. We thank You, O Lord, for Your mercy. In Christ's Name, Amen.
