Can you get any 'anbesol' at the local store? It works fast on numbing the area, use a q-tip to apply on painful spot. I pray along w/the others here for relief for your dad.
I just prayed. I hope he soon gets relief. I had an abscess before and my whole jaw throbbed. I could feel the swelling in my gum. I decided to try to squeeze the area. It was painful but once I felt it pop, instant relief. I didn’t see a dentist and never had any other issue with that tooth.
