My father got his pathology report back on his lesion thingie on his lip. It is malignant and they diagnosed it as Squamous Cell Carcinoma. It is a type of skin cancer that usually effects the lips or mouth area. The doctor was fairly certain they removed it all, but Dad has a follow up appointment in Grand Junction this upcoming Monday where they will discuss treatments if the doctor thinks there is anything more to be done.

It has a very high success rate of treatment if caught early enough, and my mother found medical records on my Great Grandfather saying he appeared to have the exact same type of thing in 1959 and he had it treated and lived another 23 years after that, so it is very unlikely to be life threatening.

Please keep my father in your prayers for healing and pray that this will totally go away. We are all baffled on how he got this, as the diagnosis says that most of the patients who end up with this type of cancer used tobacco mouth products or drank excessively and my father doesn't do either one. He has never smoked, chewed or drank in his life.

More info on this type of cancer here: Squamous Cell Carcinoma - SkinCancer.org

Dear Lord, I pray that you could put your healing hands on Alayna's father, and give him and his family strength to pull through this difficult time in their lives Lord. Help him to keep his faith in You Lord, and to keep trusting that anything is possible with the power of Your love, grace and mercy. We ask this in the Holy name of Jesus, Amen.

Dear Lord, please watch over Alayna's dad, and help the family stay strong. Amen

Thank you so much everyone for your continued prayers. We anxiously await his follow up appointment this upcoming Monday Feb 20th. My grandmother, (his mother) died a little less than a year ago of a heart attack days after she had started chemo treatments for cancer. She had cancer in her liver, around her heart and in her lymph nodes on her neck. Hers prgressed rapidly, and at 86 she chose to fight it, believing that she had no choice because she had to survive to take care of her husband. Her heart attack was sudden and unexpected.

Our family cannot handle another blow like that right now. Please keep our whole family in your thoughts. Also, my Grandfather on my moms side passed away only a month before my grandmother did, so the next month or so is going to be especially hard on my parents. March 6th is the 1 year of my Grandfather Smith's passing and April 7th is the 1 year for my Gramma Beulah.

Ya but he drank tap water, ate food, ate fast food, used deoderant, toothpaste, mouthwash, and a million other poisons we use daily. But even still he has to be careful. Don't let the dr's trick him just so they can make money off him. Dear lord people watch over him. Amen.

His check up on Monday went well and the doctor said that no cancer cells remain so they got it all!!!! Very relieved and excited for his clean bill of health. He will go back for follow up appointments in 3 and 6 months.

Please continue to keep the family in prayer as the anniversaries of my grandparents deaths both come closer each day.

Thank you for giving an update, I have prayed for your family. God bless and keep you all!

Don't let the dr's turn him into there ginny pig. They're whole job is to basically make money off the sheeple by diagnosing them with something or other. The alment might not even been a threat at all. But they want to operate anyway. It's like if you bring your car to a mechanic. You might not need new break pads, but they'll say you do anyway just to make money off you. The only problem is that if they use anything like Chemo or radiation they'll literally be putting your fathers life at risk. I hate to worry you either, so we'll just pray that everything will be fine. I'm just tired of seeing these hospitals making money off unknowing people who end up as there ginny pigs. They just blindly believe the dr's out to help them. They blindly believe the diagnoses is 100% accurate without getting a 2,3,4, 5th opinion. They blindly believe in the treatment without doing any independent research. They don't understand that that treatment is designed to maximize profits for the hospital. Then when the patient either dies of the treatment, or the treatment ends up causing other serious health problems they don't know what to do other than keep believeing in the dr. Where does the word pharmaceutical even come from? It's roots go back to ancient greek and means witchcraft or sorcery. Wikipedia: Pharmakeia . Read this book it's called: Confessions of a medical hieratic. You'll be surprised. Anyway I hate having to try make light of this. I mean I got a million other things I could be doing. I'm just saying, do your research and tell your dad. Maybe start by getting a 2nd and 3rd opinion if you can. Anyway, I just pray that God will heal your dad totally and completely. Amen
