Hey everyone, so after years and years of getting nowhere with my life, I recently decided to join the Canadian Armed Forces. The navy to be specific, as a boatswain. Id appreciate some prayer, that I would make it through basic training without giving up, and safety once Im posted somewhere. Im very excited, but also quite nervous. Its a big change from my current lifestyle. Also pray that Ill stay under the raydar while at basic. Im known to be a jokester, but that will not go over so well there.
 
Dear Lord, please keep our brother in safe and in the perfect peace of God. Let him be a vessel for You to use while he is away and help him to keep his mind stayed on You. Amen.
 
Father in heaven, we lift up shawny into your loving hands. We ask that you keep him safe all the time. We ask that you give shawny the desire of His heart. You have called everyone for a purpose. Let shawny's light shine wherever you will bring him. Please give him wisdom and sustain him that he may complete the training. We thank you for Shawny's life. Bless him more exceedingly and abundantly. Amen!!!

Navy is a good choice! I wanted to join the US Navy at one point, but I never did. However my husband did join the US Army, lol.

I will pray for you my son finished basic on June 29th in FL now for 6 month I see such growth in him stay strong in God you can do it.
 
Father GOD the LORD our banner, Please be with this son of yours keep him safe and let him always turn to you for every need. May you guide his steps and guard his way. In Yeshua/ Jesus Holy name I pray Amen.
 
Thank you everyone for the prayers. Id also like some prayer for my finances. Ive opted to quit my job, in order to dedicate as much time as possible to getting prepared for leaving. I have enough money to cover my bills for a few months, but its gunna be pretty tight. Thanks again for the support.

Shawn, I am so pleased to pray for your safety, endurance, and financial needs. I'm eager to hear stories of hos the Lord blesses you, and uses you to bless so many! That He goes with you is a given. I pray your light shines so brightly that everyone says, "Hey, what is it that guy has?" :)

Now...the momma in me has to say, stay safe! But God's daughter says, It's done, in Christ. ♥
