Prayer for someone who is possibly suicidal

Someone needs our prayers who I have talked to for a few days now and suicide may be an imminent concern. I won't mention who it is, but it is because it is a member of the chat site. I've suggested a crisis treatment center among other things, but seems these aren't an option in that area so if you guys don't mind praying for this person with all ya got, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
Are they located in the US? Here is a site that lists all the helplines in each state:

Though that website does look like it was made in the 1990's I'm sure that it could get them the help that they need.

Give them something to live for, this person just needs one goal that will keep them going. Remember that a part of them wants to be alive. This is evident by the sheer fact that they are alive, and the fact that they told you about their thoughts means that they are asking for your help in some way. Continue to urge professional help. If this person truly wanted to be dead they would already have done it, they are in pain and want the pain to end. Death just seems like it will end the pain easily and quickly.

Thanks. I will relay the site. Yeah it's in the US. I know most areas have a crisis center, and I think maybe they are just avoiding looking for one. Even an ER should have a psychiatric section and will refer them to a place for free counseling. I'm not a counselor and all I could do it relate some of my own experiences when I was in that state of mind, and hope they realize that things aren't as bad as they seem sometimes. There are some physical problems they are dealing with that I can't relate to, so I dunno how to handle that.

I really dunno what else to do but pray. It may not be that they will actually do it, but I would rather not risk it because I know what it feels like to be where they are. Thanks again, and thanks to anyone that will help me pray for them :)
 
Forthangel: since u know who this person is try ur hardest to talk them out of it. I know Ur concerend but just the right words could help just that little bit and save their life. I will definitley be praying and may the holy spirit guide you forthangel into helping this person from their pain. God bless both of u
 
Lord God I come before you, bringing FourthAngel and his friend before You as well. I pray the Blood of Jesus over them both to cleanse them of this infirmity. And I pray the Holy Spirit fall upon both of them, to gift FourthAngel with the words and his friend with the hearing, that thru their sharing they would both be healed in their common experience. In Jesus' Name I bind and silence the evil that speaks to the friend, and I loose FourthAngel to speak the words the Spirit gives him. And I thank You Lord that you have made possible this intercession by Your love for us all.

Lord I pray that you reveal yourself to these people. I pray that you will show them that there is hope and that You are the Hope. I ask that you put your arms around them to comfort them and protect them and lead them into your secured abode. God we know nothing is difficult for you and that what is impossible for man, is possible for you and through you. In Jesus name, amen!!

Usually if someone shares they want to end their life, they are in pain and want help.
But...we can never know, so I appreciate that you are being prudent in this situation!

I have prayed, and have hope that the Lord will be strong on the behalf of both you and your friend.
When you have done all you can, stand. And trust God to deal with His own.

Lord God, we ask you for mercy, and so, so much grace for this person, unknown to us, but known and beloved by You.
Abba, I pray You will show this person just how very much You love, and how important they are to You.
I ask You to strengthen these two, and to be their strength and their hope and their future.
And when you have finished renewing this one, please give him or her a vast and mighty testimony of all You have done.
Renew this person's love for You, and restore to them the JOY of Your salvation, in Jesus' Name, amen.
 
Father move people who know and love this person to reach out and call them.
Lord send your Joyful spirit to speak to their heart!

I believe each and every person in this world just wants love, and to know that someone cares for them. The greatest comfort is that of knowing that through all pain there is a person standing by you. I pray that the Holy Ghost may use you as a comfort to this person through Him. God bless

May the person be Comforted and set free from their torment, in the name of Yahshua the Messiah may Yahvah God release this person, may Light fall upon this person so that he/she can see through the darkness.
